Kathryn's POV

Thor is angry. In fact, he's so enraged that

he is sitting silently, clenching and unclenching his fists. Unfortunately, no one knows exactly who he's mad at.

Of course, there are three mind readers present.

Janey is perched on the steps, covering her obviously bloodied and broken nose. I have no doubt Sebastian hit her hard.

Everyone is silent. Sam looks emotionally ruined. I immediately feel bad. Janey pretty much left him for Sebastian, who made sure and clear that I was his and he was mine, and he's far, far away from his family and planet.

My mother and father are seated next to Sif, who is confused just like them. Frigga flits around the room, making sure already spotless relics are clean.

I clear my throat. Silence bothers me. "We're all here for the same reason, more or less."

"Care to elaborate?" my mother asks, ready to deal out punishments to Gods and children alike.

I glance at Sebastian, who has recently acquired a new knife and holds it tightly. He nods lightly.

"Well, uh... A recent scandal occurred..."

My father raises hus eyebrow. Oh, shut up! You already know what happened, I growl at him. He smirks.

"I'm going to cut to the chase. While I was picking out a wedding dress, Janey tried to kiss Sebastian. Break us up. Obviously, I was ready to kill someone and Sebastian, err... Broke her nose."

Frigga, Sif, and my mother collectively gasp. Thor gets up abruptly. He turns to face Janey.

"Daughter of mine, you know I love you." Thor begins calmly. Janey's eyes fill with fear.

"You know never to steal another woman's man. Especially not your own cousin's! A girl that has only been kind and helpful to you! And before their wedding! Disgusting."

Janey flinches.

"I only have one question. Why?"

Everyone stares at her, ready for an answer.

"She doesn't deserve him," Janey states simply. My mind almost explodes with anger.

My father is up and has her pinned against the wall before anyone can react. Thor watches closely.

"If I ever hear you say my daughter isn't worthy, I'll have you sent deep in the freezing dungeons of Jotunheim, never to be seen again. Understand?" Loki hisses into her face. He's manipulating her mind, and Thor knows it. Janey's eyes change from brown to a vibrant green, then they change back. Janey blinks and sees Sam.

She immediately runs toward him. Sam frowns, then looks at Sif. She nods. Then, they leave.

"I didn't know you could do that," I say to my father.

"Exactly. I hate to do it to people because it clears recent memory. It had to be done, however. She'll get it back, of course, but after the wedding." Loki nods to Thor. "She'll be alright, brother."

Thor nods and leaves with Sif.

My father approaches Sebastian. "I'm sorry that happened to you."

"I'm fine, thanks to your wonderful daughter."

I smile.

"I'm so glad we have this one in the family. You know, it could be a weirdo from the streets," my mom says. I roll my eyes.

"Your mom's right, Blondie. It could've been a whole lot weirder than this, " Sebastian says. "Anyway, I'm glad this is over."

"I'm glad too." I kiss him on the cheek. "Let's go help with dinner."

He laughs and follows me.
