Kathryn's POV (yay we are back)

I wake up bright and early in the morning with one objective in my mind. See Sebastian. I slip quietly into the elevator, press the clearly labeled Medical Center button and hold my breath. I still can't decide between Sam and Sebastian, but somehow I find myself more attracted to Sebastian.

The elevator opens, and I step into the hospital looking place. It's not too different from Asgardian infirmaries, but it has different medicines and technology. Bruce sits tiredly on a stool, obviously out of it.

"Hey, I'll take over from here, Bruce," I say quietly. He rubs his face and half smiles gratefully. I seat myself on a chair close to the hospital bed that Sebastian's cut up body lays on. He's been cleaned up and bandaged, and lays very still, breathing deeply through the oxygen mask. His eyes flicker open at the sound of my loudly sitting down.

"Hey," I say gently. Sebastian nods his head slightly.

"Do you want me to take this off you? Judging from your vitals status, you don't need it," I ask him. He nods slightly again, so I delicately pull off the mask, turn off the machine, and set it down.

"Hey blondie," he manages weakly.

I slip my small hand through his. "Got some nasty cuts for yourself there. How do you feel?"

"I hurt. All over. I thought I was used to pain, but I guess not."

I release some energy through my hand into his body and he relaxes. "Well, I don't hurt now, Miss Magician."

I laugh. "I can heal the cuts too." Slowly, the red lines disappear from his skin and he gives me a small smile.

"It's still pretty weird, blondie. So, all weirdness of the past few days aside, your little friend Sam..." he continues.

"Oh, I don't know... Why do you ask?" I respond, grinning at his choice of small talk.

"It seems to me that he's got feelings for a girl that I've got feelings for."

"Oh yeah? And what are you going to do about it? Battle to become the alpha?"

He laughes, a sound that gives me a warm feeling. "We might. Why don't you come sit here on the bed in front of me so I can see that smile?"

I let go of his hand and sit next to his leg on the surprisingly soft hospital bed. "Enjoy the view now?"

He nods. "I do. I enjoy it a lot."

"Let's get you up," I say, gently lifting him.

He smirks at me. "Sweetie, I'm in a hospital gown. You might want to get me some proper clothes."

I blush. After calling Clint for some clothes for Sebastian, I start making breakfast. Sebastian sits at Tony's sleek dining table, glancing out the enormous windows of Stark Tower. After I've finished the waffles, I fill a plate and set it in front of him.

He looks up at me. "That's a lot of waffles."

I shrug. Soon Clint appears, looking hungry. He looks at the stacks of waffles I've prepared, glances at me, shrugs, and fills a plate for himself. Natasha and Steve appear later, Natasha grinning at the waffles. Lastly, Bruce appears, smiling widely at my waffle mess.

"Okay, why do you keep smiling at my waffles?" I ask, concerned.

Bruce is the first to crack, laughing hysterically. "When... When your dad first showed up... He made your mother a ton of waffles. And it looks like it runs in the family."

I smile. What a family. Then my father walks in, sees the waffles, and walks out, giggling like a mad man. Then, Sam, Tony, and a tired looking Pepper appear.

Tony throws his hands in the air. "Did she make the waffles? Because if she did..."

Brude nods, still thinking it's the funniest thing in the world. Tony starts laughing and steps out of the room. Pepper looks at me.

"I guess we've got a waffle problem," she says, then helps herself. "More for me!"

Sam looks at me, then gets himself a waffle and sits down.

"Where's Fury?" I ask.

Clint pauses his waffle eating to answer, "He took the antivirus to SHIELD. He might be back any time."

I nod, then walk into the living room with Sebastian in tow. My father looks him up and down.

"I hate to embarass you, Kathryn, but I must say that you've made a nice choice!" he announces. I blush, and Sebastian grins.

"Thanks," I say sheepishly, then hug him. "It's good to have you back."

My father kisses my forehead. "It's good to be back."

I step back and take Sebastian's hand. "Go enjoy some waffles," I say to my father. He smirks and walks into the kitchen.

"So what are we going to do?" Sebastian asks me. I smile before putting my lips gently on his. When I pull away, he looks surprised. "Wow."

"I think we should check out the rest of this building," I say, and he nods in agreement.
