Kathryn's POV
"Are you absolutely sure you want to go to Asgard now? We can go later if you feel like it," I ask Sebastian.
He nods. "Better get used to it. I'm going to be living there for a long time."
"Sam, you ready to experience Bifrost?" I say, turning to Sam and Janey. Janey winks at me.
"Completely gentle ride?" Sam asks me one last time.
I quickly hide my smile. "Completely."
My father smirks at me and Thor has to turn around to conceal his laughter. They don't call me the daughter of Lies for nothing. I turn and hug everyone else one last time. Natasha kisses my forehead and whispers, "See ya, baby Jetstream."
I give Steve a firm handshake after our embrace, just like I did with Fury. Clint tells me to stay safe, which, without his eyebrow wiggling would have been a lot less awkward. Tony slips a business card into my back pocket as we hug, grinning widely as Clint laughs. Pepper punches him on the arm before hugging me and kissing my cheek. Bruce wipes a tear away from his eye, obviously remembering my mother.
I return to the small Asgardian tour group, waving goodbye to everyone. "Heimdall, if you would."
An enormous column of light beams down from the sky, then we are teleported upwards very violently. As we land, Sam falls down. He gets up with an angry scowl on his face.
Janey laughs loudly, and even Heimdall smiles.
"So this is Asgard?" Sebastian asks, looking around in the Bifrost.
"Wait till you see the palace," I remark.
We walk out onto the rainbow bridge where four horses wait patiently.
"Horses?" Sam asks.
Thor grins. "Frigga heard my call."
My father and Thor mount their horses effortlessly, followed by Sebastian and I on our horse. Sam has a little more trouble, still off balance from the Bifrost. I take off first, smiling as my father follows just as fast.
"Oh, is this a game, Brother?" Thor yells, pulling his horse up to speed. I can hear Janey laugh, following us in our little race. Soon, we've entered the town that surrounds the palace, and I slow our horse down ro look more regal. Well, as regal as I can look wearing a t shirt and jeans with a full grown man behind me.
People clap as they see us enter; some even cheer as they see my father return. I wave, blowing kisses to the little boys and touching the hands of the little girls that run up beside our horse.
Finally, we arrive at the palace. A familiar woman comes running up to me. Sasha yanks me off the horse, laughing like a mad man as I trip.
I straighten myself out. "Goodness, Sasha! Can you not grow up yet?"
She cackles, waving her hand in my face. "I can grow up enough to get engaged!"
I shriek in surprise. Even though she is extraordinarily annoying sometimes, I love her. We embrace, then seperate as Sebastian walks over.
Janey looks at him, her eyes slowly widening. Her jaw drops. She leans over to me and whispers, "this one yours?"
"Sasha, Sebastian. Sebastian, Sasha," I say, introducing the two. "Sasha, Sebastian is to become Allfather alongside me."
Sasha curtsies. "Welcome to Asgard."
Sebastian nods. "Thanks. It's a beautiful realm."
My father walks over to us. Sasha's jaw drops once again, a tears brimming in her eyes. My father was just that to her; a father. "Loki?"
He nods, bending down to hug her. "Little Miss Sasha! It's good to see my grown up fan again."
After everyone has been introduced, we continue into the palace, stopping in the throne room. Frigga is the first thing I see. I run up to her, wrapping her in my arms.
"Oh, child. You look so alive!" she whispers to me.
It's an odd compliment, but it means the world to me. "Thank you!" We seperate and she looks at the rest of the group. Her eyes stop solidly on Loki. She squints to see if it really is her beloved adopted child, then the notion solidifies. Tears well up in her wise eyes and she runs toward him. They embrace for the longest, sweetest moment I've ever witnessed.
She pulls away, her arms still on his. Frigga tenderly touches his pale cheek, taking in her son. "I missed you, my son."
The room is silent. Tears run down my father's face. Finally he opens his mouth to speak. "I missed you more, Mother."
My eyes glance over at Sebastian. He looks in solemn awe and amazement at the reunion of a mother and son. I quietly slide next to him, welcoming his arm around my waist.
After most of the tears have been dried and Thor has received his welcome, Frigga turns to Sebastian. She studies him with a motherly scrutiny, then nods with a slight grin.
"Allfather," she states, dipping her head slightly.
His eyes widen slightly, then he nods back to her.
"You made the right choice, Kathryn. Just like when your father proposed," Frigga remarks with an ever growing smirk reminiscent of my father's.
"We uh, I- I haven't exactly asked for, um, her hand in marriage," Sebastian stutters. His cheeks turn bright red. Goodness, he's really adorable.
"Sounds like Loki. History repeats in the cutest ways," Frigga says, nudging me. My father blushes just like Sebastian as Thor punches his arm.
"Hopefully history won't repeat a horse as a child," Thor laughs.
My father turns swiftly and socks Thor straight on the jaw. "At least I didn't have an affair!"
Thor grasps Mjolnir firmly, getting ready to swing. Loki summons a golden spear, not unlike the one Thanos gave him. Both of the men begin to argue like five year olds. I start to laugh violently, and everyone turns to stare at me except the arguing gods.
"Is she okay?" Sam asks quietly.
Janey bursts out in laughter too. Frigga joins us shortly, crying from our chuckles on the cold palace floor.
"Are you done yet?" Thor asks. He looks wildly confused.
"Is... Is that a hormonal thing or..." Sebastian asks. Loki shrugs.
Finally, I stand up, gaining control of myself. "I'm sorry. I just imagined some pretty interesting things."
"So why did Janey and Frigga start to laugh?" Sam asks, obviously embarrassed.
"Mind powers," Janey whispers. "Honestly, it's rather fun imagining men trying to deal with horse children."
My father crosses his arms indignantly. "It's funny until it happens."
Then everyone laughs. "This is turning out to be a nice decision after all," Sebastian whispers to me.
