Kathryn's POV
As a child, I would always daydream about the details of my wedding.
I would be wearing a big, poofy dress and lots of bridesmaids who would fawn over the details and my hair and makeup.
A tall, strapping, young noble who followed all the cookie cutter stereotypes of a prince from one of the Nine Realms would be waiting at the altar for me.
The party after would be grand. Thousands of guests would line up at the door, waiting to maybe catch a glimpse of the queen and newly married in king celebrating their happy marriage. Hundreds of gifts would wait to be opened and parents and relatives would wait to be greeted.
But now, as I stand in my beautifully simple dress with my loosely curled hair, I wouldn't have it any other way.
At the end of the aisle stands Sam, the priest, and, of course, Sebastian. He's wearing his armor of choice and a big smile as I now take steps toward him with my teary eyed father.
My mom and Frigga look ready to cry and Sif nods with her warm warrior smile. Thor is a wreck. He holds Sif's hand and blows his nose every other minute.
My heart swells with joy as I stand across from Sebastian. He winks at me.
The priest gives the traditional Asgardian speech on marriage, then looks at us, smiling.
"Do you, Sebastian S. Robinson, take Kathryn Alianova Lokisdottir to be your lawfully and magically wedded wife forever through sickness and trial, and happiness and success?"
"Of course I do! Who wouldn't?" Sebastian says. I bite my tongue to keep from laughing.
The priest breaks his straight, smiling composure for a moment to let out a laugh. Then he readjusts and continues. "And do you, Kathryn Alianova Lokisdottir, take Sebastian S. Robinson to be your lawfully and magically wedded husband forever through sickness and trial, and happiness and success?"
"I do, I do take this big dork's hand in marriage!" I reply, smiling wider than physically possible. We'll never be normal.
The laughing priest nods. "You may now kiss the bride!"
Sebastian leans in and kisses me. It's paradise. The cheers of the audience melt away and all I know is the warm feeling of love. It's more than everything I had ever imagined, and it's perfect. A perfect few seconds that will keep us together through alot.
Sebastian finally breaks it when neither of us can breath. His forehead touches mine. "We're married."
I nod. "Wow. I don't want to go talk to strangers after that."
"Well, give me a hug, and then we'll be social and then we'll be free," Sebastian responds. "I know you didn't eat breakfast this morning, so I made sure there will be food, and, as a benefit of marriage, you can kiss me as much as you want."
I laugh. "Alright. I am pretty hungry.."
My mother is the first person I see. She comes running for Sebastian and I and envelopes us in a killer mom hug.
"Look at you two, my little babies!" she nearly shouts. "You're married! That means you can do couple things and raise children and do cool stuff like ground your kids!"
I step back out of the way of her celebratory destruction. However, she voices alot of my inner thoughts. "Woah, Mom. One step at a time. But, I know! We can do couple stuff!"
"Couple stuff like tickle fights," Sebastian whispers to me. Then we laugh. Together, we're like two five year olds on a sugar high.
My father finds us next, a mischievious grin painted on his face. "Congratulations!"
