A Hidden World

As soon as I hear his name I almost burst through the tree line to strangle both of those girls, but Kyle pulls me back.

"I wish everyone didn't think we were dead though.... but I mean at least we can show ourselves with out being remembered or being called presumably dead. I mean I thought it was hysterical how idiotic the Ash girl is. She was so stupid when Tyler and Cade killed the imposture boy who was supposed to be a look a like James. The sad thing is though that Shadow did really kill him, his powers were one of the strongest. He just didn't listen and use his powers like he was told, oh well we should probably get back before they think we ran off."

"So Daisy I was wondering do you ever think that anyone looked for our bodies after the whole fake bear attack thing?" I can't hear the answer to Rose's question because they get to far out of reach. There the girls from Couragoes territory there not dead! But their clothes, someone is playing us. I stare at Kyle in wonder, he stares back blankly.

"You know who they are right, I mean they were from your Legion"

"Of course, I do everyone does and we all know their story too. Alright, we will talk later we really need to get back to the house, fix your arm then tell everyone about the girls and all of what we heard. But did you notice they know all about us where we are and on top of that there is someone wanting to use are ability."

"Abilities, that's something else we need to talk about I know all about you and Connar. We all have and extra ability supposedly, but I think only you two know what yours are yet."

"Well...um...yeah ok." He looks away from me quickly and down to the ground like being shameful is going to fix are problems at the moment. We walk back in silence, the back of the house comes into view.

"Should we head through..." My sentence is broken by an ear piercing scream coming from the front of the house. Kyle and I sprint there, our adrenaline running high. We find the little girl Daisy over the other one Rose. I stop when I realized what was going on someone had attacked them. A girl with pitch-black hair in a single braid down her back, in a black shirt and cargo pants, come out onto the street with a bow and a quiver of arrows on her back. I look over to Kyle he nods me over in her direction. I look back over to find her looking straight back. Are stare is broken by Daisy with tears still streaming down the little girls cheeks running at the other girl; in a swift motion the girl pulls an arrow out, pulls back the string and shoots Daisy right in the chest, she drops so quickly. The girl kicks her onto her back.

"Never did think those idiots would be that stupid to actually light a fire in the woods and then come out into the open , sometimes I swear people have no common sense." She walks over to us after she collects her arrows out oft he girls bodies. Kyle and I can't even think about moving, we are too shocked. She sizes us up then says, "I'm Kyra, and you two I already know are Ash and Kyle. I, well we know all about you don't worry we'll explain we should just get inside first." She whistles a tune and a boy walks out right were Kyra did. He has dark brown hair with natural looking blond highlights and green eyes.

"And this is Shane, we meet a while ago and he's very trust worthy don't worry like I said we'll explain when we get inside," Kyra says. We all walk into the back.

"How are we getting in exactly?" I mention.

"You underestimate me, Ash," Kyle says as he kicks a small part of the door and it pushes in. The door opens with ease. We walk in and head into the meeting room. We find everyone already in there waiting for us.

"We saw outsides mascare. What the hell happened?" Caleb ask quietly. Shelby runs over to Kyle

"Oh my God we thought that crazy girl got you too. Are you okay? Oh, what if you weren't"

 "Shelby for one time in your whole entire life shut your prissy stuck up mouth up will you," I say loudly to make sure she gets my point.

"I was about to say something too I'm glad Ash got to or it would have been worse. First of all, I'm not crazy those girls where. They would have killed you if they would have gotten the chance to. No need to thank we though but it would be very appreciated." Kyra implies and adds a cocky smile. I can tell I am really going to enjoy Kyra around.

"So everyone before you all throw your little fits and stuff this is Kyra and this is Shane." I point to the two," I don't know their story but I know they are legitimate. Kyle and I heard those girls talking about us like they have been watching us for a while so let them explain okay?" Kyra steps out into the middle of are little meeting room the one I was in when I first woke up here.

"Alright as Ash has said I'm Kyra and my friend is Shane. We never lived in one of your Legions, we have lived in the woods, before we were here. Well, we have been watching you too just from the other side but once you guys came we had to find out who you were. As you can tell those little girls were going to attack you tonight.Reason being there is a person out there they call Shadow finding kids with a certain type of how you would say abilities from there special little love stone thingies to do some big plan that we never got to figure out. That's all we got from following those two. Also to answer a question I know you're going to ask sooner or latter, yes both Shane and I have these abilities but have no love stone. We found the rock and lived there for a while and it still gave us the abilities. So yeah that's all I have to say." Kyra finishes still looking very confident.

"So your saying people or that Shadow person is trying to use us?" Sophia says.

"Yes Barbie, that's exactly what I'm saying," I smirk at what Kyra says. Sophia slumps down back into her seat. 

Caleb ask, "Are you going to stay here with us or go back into the forest?"

"Caleb, I think since they were here first they probably are going to stay here," I answer

"True... sorry."

 "By the way Ash nice clothes I thought I recognized them. Got them out of a closet in a blue room right?" Kyra interjects.

"Yeah... I'm guessing there yours?"

"Right you are, don't worry being room buddies and all means we can share." She says with a joking smile.

"Where I am going to stay?" Shane quietly says.

"What did your old room look like?" I ask him. "The one with the forest painted all through it. I painted it myself." He finishes with a blush and smile.

"That's my room! By the way, you're an amazing painter." Miles says with a sweet smile, "I'm Miles." he adds while shaking Shane's hand.

"Well, then we should probably tell them the rest Kyle."

"I guess we should it's only fair, well were do I start. Um... a couple of us has experienced more then one ability that we are gifted with. Mine being able to feel peoples emotions around me. Connar's being mind reading but only when he wants to it's not like he can hear every thought. So yeah we need everyone to keep watch for something like that and never play it off. Alright, I think that's all we can all go back to whatever." He looks over to me while everyone clears out.

"I'm going to the bathroom to look at my arm, then try to go to bed. I'm so over full of information right now. I will just talk to you later."

"I can help you with your arm I'm good with stuff like that. I think I was born with it." says Kyra.

"Okay thanks." We walk out together not even giving Kyle a chance to anwser.

"Thanks for that."

"No problem. I can tell what needed to be done. I can tell were going to be great friends Ash."

"Me too Kyra."
