CHAPTER 13: EUPHORIA

Rhian's POV

I never was a sappy and senti one but for everything that has happened, I couldn't be more thankful for what I have now. I guess when you're in love, everything seems to be more special and happier. Iba ang sigla at kulay na nabibigay ng pagmamahal.

It's a Sunday morning and I'm making breakfast. While I'm at it, I take few sips of my hot chocolate and glance outside the window to appreciate the beautiful garden which was brightly lit by the sun. It feels like I'm letting life drift slowly as it is, no rush, no pressure, like my life always has been. Parang now, mas navavalue ko ang mga bagay-bagay and I feel far more grateful than I've ever been for so many things, even those little treasures of life not everyone gets to have.

"Hmmm.. Bango ah." Glaiza said out of nowhere and hugged me from behind then charmingly rested her chin on my shoulder.

"Some ninja skills you have noh? di man lang kita narinig lumapit sakin.

Wubbwubb naman.. mabuti di ako magugulatin, kundi nagkaheart attack na ko." I uttered and softly pinched her cheek with my free hand.
My cute yet alluring little ninja.

Maagang namalengke sila manang kaya I decided to cook for Glai. The past days kasi, siya laging nagluluto for me, pambawi daw for taking care of her. It took more or less a week before G fully recovered. Mabuti lang talaga it wasn't anything serious said the doctor who gave her a checkup.

"Hehe. sorry MK. Good morning pala. Ba't di mo ko ginising? Tsaka ba't ikaw ang nagluluto? Pero grabe.. Mukhang masarap ah, di, for sure masarap yan" She said.

Sus nambola pa.

Pero you're kinikilig naman.

I seldom cook but I'm quite confident with omelettes and french toast since I make them a lot at home. I also cooked some bacon.. guess you can never go wrong with bacon. =D

"Because nagising ako quite early and I didn't want to interrupt your good sleep. Then manang and Ate Maia left for the market. I thought I could make some breakfast for us and your cousins baka kasi matagalan sila manang bumalik.

By the way good morning too, my love." I said and gave her a kiss.

Nakakagigil eh.

"Aray! andami namang langgam dito!

Ay andyan pala kayo mga ate, gooood morning." Kate, who just entered the kitchen, interrupted and greeted us. I couldn't help but chuckle. She loves teasing her ate Glai.

Kinalas ni Glai ang kamay niyang nakapulupot sa waist ko then turned around to face Kate.

"Good morning Kate" Lingon ko rin and greeted Kate who was sniggering.

Eto kasing girlfriend ko sweet pero di lang halata especially pag may ibang tao kaya pag napupuna or nahuhuli ni Kate or her friends, laging tinutukso. Halata kasing affected, she told me she tries to play it cool whenever they tease her pero di pa yata talaga sya sanay kaya nagrereact din siya, minsan nga namumula pa. Kawawa naman my girlfriend. Hehe.

"Alam mo Kate, umupo ka nalang diyan para magbreakfast. Tsaka maligo ka na uy, anong oras na baka malate ka pa. Si Paopao, di mo pa ginising?" Glaiza asked her.

"Ganyan pala epekto pag in love, Ate? Nawawalan ng sense of time? FYI, weekend po ngayon wala kaming class." Kate teased Glai before pulling a chair.

"Huh? Weekend na ba MK?" Glaiza looked at me confusingly and asked.

"Haha. yes love. It's Saturday." I answered.
