Deewangi - Rajveer-Naina

Chapter 19

Everyone is happy while Naveen is worried. Naveen goes to Naina and asks her to come with him. He takes Naina from there without anyone noticing them.

Naveen-Naina in room -

Naveen - "Naina, mujhe tujh se kuch baat karni hai."

Naina - "g bhaiya boliye na, kya baat hai? Aap itnay pareshaan kyun lag rahay ho?"

Naveen - "Naina, pata nahi kyun mujhe kuch theek nahi lag raha, mein janta hoon Raj or tu ek dosray se kitna pyaar kartay ho lekin phir bhi pata nahi kyun mujhe kuch theek nahi lag raha."

Naina - "Bhaiya, mein samajh sakti hoon aap kia sooch rahe ho, mein janti hoon ke aapko meri chinta hai lekin bhai, don't worry! Aap fikar mut karo, sab kuch theek hi hoga!"

Naveen - "tu khush hai Naina?"

Naina - "G bhaiya, mein bohut khush hoon!"

Naveen - "bus phir theek hai, teri khushi mein meri khushi hai! Chal ab shaadi ki sari tayariyaan karni hai!"

Naina - "G bhaiya, chaliye!"

And they both walk out of the room to prepare for the wedding.



Afternoon of April 23rd-

Somewhere in KMA, Rajveer and other person talking on the phone-

1st Person - "Kam hua Rajveer?"

Rajveer - "G dada ji, kam hogaya, wo man gayi hai or ab time aa gaya hai ke us ko bhi wohi insult sehni paray."

Rajveer and his Dadaji disconnects the call.


From afternoon to evening, everyone is extremely busy preparing for the weeding. No one has the time to talk to each other. Whereas, Naina has been looking for Rajveer since morning but, he is nowhere to be found.

It is now late at night, everyone comes down for dinner but, again Rajveer is no where to be found. Naina gets worried. She tries to call him, but he has been ignoring her calls. She gets really worried but, then thinks maybe he is very busy with the wedding too. Everyone goes to sleep since tomorrow will be a big day for everyone, full of surprises.


Morning of April 24th -

Naina-Shalini-Pooja in a room picking out a dress for Naina. Pooja notices that something is wrong with Naina.

Pooja - "Oye Naina kia hua? Tera signal kahan gum hai subha se? Tu itni pareshaan kyun lag rahi hai?"

Dr. Shalini - "aray Pooja, samjha karo, mujhe pata hai Naina kyun pareshaan hai, aray aaj us ki shaadi hai, wo apni wedding night ko leke dari hui hai.",

Pooja and Dr. Shalini bursts out laughing, Suddenly, they both stop laughing as they see Naina still worried and didn't react to their comment and has tears in her eyes.

Dr. Shalini - puts a hand on Naina's shoulder - "kia baat hai Naina?"

Naina - wiping her tears - "nahi kuch nahi ma'am wo bus..."

Pooja - "dekh Naina, please jhoot mut bol, hum dono ka connection toh tab se jod gaya tha jab se hum dono ne is academy mein pehle kadam rakha tha. Mein dekh rahi hoon tera signal subha se out of range hua hai, kia baat hai Naina?"

Naina - starts crying - "Pata nahi Pooja, mujhe pata nahi kyun bohut dar lag raha hai jase kuch galat honay wala ho, wase bhi mein kal se Raj ko doondh rahi hoon, wo mujhe kahin bhi nazar nahi aa rahay hain or na hi mera phone utha rahe hain."

Dr. Shalini - "Don't worry, Naina! Major shayad kahin busy hoonge nahi toh wo tumhe zaroor call kartay, sab theek ho jayega tum aase hi pareshaan ho rahi ho.", wiping her tears, "chalo ab rona dhona band karo, aaj to tumhari shaadi hai or aaj tum sirf khush rahogi, samjhi?"

Naina - "yes, ma'am!"

Naina, pooja and Dr. Shalini share a group hug.


Afternoon of April 24th -

Abhi-Nandini-Naveen in a room

Naveen - "yaar ye Raj kahan hai? Mujhe kal se nazar nahi aaya?"

Abhi - "hum bhi yahi sooch rahay thay."

Nandini - "aray aap dono pareshaan kyun ho rahay ho, ussay shayad koi kaam hoga, wo aa jayega."

Naveen - "lekin Nadini, shaadi mein sirf 2 ghantay baki hain or Raj ka kuch aata pata nahi hai, mujhe pata nahi dar lag raha hai."

Abhi - puts a hand on Naveen's shoulder - "don't worry Naveen! Aap fikar mut kijiye, Raj aa jayega!"

Naveen-Nandini-Abhi share a group hug!



Two hours later-Evening of April 24th-Time for the wedding -


Naina is brought down by Pooja and Shalini. She walks towards the mandap and sits there while there is no sign of Rajveer anywhere. Everyone is present and everyone tries to call Rajveer but, there seems to be no answer.

It has now been two hours since Naina is waiting for Rajveer while sitting in Mandap. By now, everyone understands that Rajveer will not come as he betrayed Naina. But, Naina, she does not seem to understand that. Naveen comes up to Naina.

Naveen - grabs her by her hand- "Naina, 2 ghantay ho gaye hai, Raj nahi aayega, chal yahan se."

Naina - tears in her eyes and frees her hand from Naveen's hand - "aap ye kaisi baatein kar rahay hain bhaiya? Mera dil kehta hai ke Raj zaroor aayege wo shayad kisi kaam mein phas gaye hoonge, mein wait karoongi."

Naveen - "Naina, tu samajh kyun nahi rahi hai, Raj ne tujhay dhoka dia hai, wo nahi aayega..samjhi tu?"

Nana - gets up and yells - "aap apnay best friend ke baray mein aisa sooch bhi kaisay sakte hain? Mera dil janta hai ke wo zaroor aayege, wo mujhse bohut pyaar kartay hain, wo mujhe dhoka nahi de saktay...samjhay aap?"

Naveen - frustrated - "Naina...tu kyun nahi samajh rahi hai? ?

Naina - "mujhe kuch nahi samajhna hai, mein wait karoon gi apnay Raj ka, chahe mujhe apni puri zindagi hi kyun na intazaar karna pare, wo mujhe dhoka nahi de saktay..."

One by one, everyone comes to Naina and makes her realise that Rajveer will not come, he has betrayed her. Naina does not seem to understand and pushes everyone away and wishes to wait for Rajveer in mandap as she thinks that her Rajveer can never betray her.

After an hour, everyone hears a noise of the opening door. Naina looks at the door and is shocked to see what is in front of her.

There is Rajveer standing at the door with a girl. He has a lipstick mark on his cheeks and he has his arm around that girl's waist. Completely ignoring Naina and everyone else, he takes that girl to his room.

Naina is stunned to see this as she thought that Rajveer will never betray her. She suddenly gets up, wipes her tears and walks towards Rajveer's room. She decides to get her answers.

Naina storms into Rajveer's room and pushes the door leading the door to open. She is shocked to see what's in front of her. She sees Rajveer and that girl hugging each other while Rajveer places a kiss on that girl's lips.

By the sound of the door, Rajveer and that girl pull back. They both find Naina standing in front of them in a wedding dress. They both get up.

Girl - "Raj, baby,  ye behan ji kon hai or ye is dress mein kyun aayi hai?"

Rajvver - "Sonia Darling, oh ye? Ye hai the great Capt Naina Singh Aaluwalia.. can you believe it issay lagta hai mein is se pyaar karta hoon?"

Sonia - "what a stupid lady."

Rajveer - kissing Sonia - "Anyways baby, can you please excuse us for few minutes? Mein zara is ladki se nipat loon."

Sonia - "of course, honey!", kisses him back


Sonia walks out of the door and Rajveer locks the door behind him.


Rajveer - "yes, Capt Aaluwalia? Kahiye mein aapke liye kia kar sakta hoon?"

Naina - angrily - "ye sab kia hai? Aap mere sath aisa kase kar saktay ho?"

Rajveer - "maine kia kiya? I don't know what you are talking about Capt..."

Naina - grabs his collar, crying and yells - "kia kiya aapne? Ye aap mujhse pooch rahe hain.. Kyun kia aapne mere sath aisa? Kyun diya mujhe itna bara dhoka. Ye natak kyun kiya haan? Kyun Raj kyun?"

Rajveer - takes her hands off his collar and pushes her back - "First of all, for you, I am Major Rajveer Singh Shikhawat, not Raj, only my friends call me Raj, not strangers, understand Capt Naina Singh Ahluwalia? And secondly, lagta hai aap ko apne seniors se baat karne ki tameez nahi sikhai hai kisi ne. Don't forget that I am your senior caption, aap mujhse aise baat nahi kar sakti. Or haan, aap ke kisi bhi sawal ka jawab mein dena zaroori nahi samajhta. Mind you caption, agar phir se aisi galti hui toh mujhe aap kay khilaf strict action lena parega. Now, excuse me and GET OUT OF MY ROOM. Ainda ke baad room mein aanay se pehle knock karna, understand?"

Naina is shocked to hear this. She does not know what to say. She does not know the reason behind Rajveer's behaviour. She decides to still question him.


Naina - yells - "How dare you? Aap ki itni himmat kase hui? Mujhe pura haq hai janne ka ke aapne mere sath aisa kyun kia? Aap toh pyaar kartay ho na mujhse?"

Rajvver - smiles - "pyaar or aapse? Lagta hai aap ko koi galat fehmi hui hai, mein bahar wali cheezon se pyaar nahi karta, in fact, mein toh unhe muh bhi lagana pasand nahi karta. Now if you'll excuse me, else I'll have to show you your real place."

Naina - walks towards him angrily - "you wanna show me my real place huh? Bataye mujhe kia aukat hai meri? Kyun mere sath ye dhoka kia aapne?"

Rajveer - "tum aise yahan se dafa nahi hogi jab tak tumhe mein tumhari jagah nahi bata deta."


He walks towards Naina, grabs her shoulders and pulls her towards him with a jerk. He, then, grabs her face very harshly, squeezes her face tightly and gives a very harsh and aggressive kiss on her lips leading her lips to have bruises and his teeth marks. After the kiss, still holding her face tightly, he pushes her back very harshly leading her to fall on the floor.

Rajveer - "I'm sure ab tumhe apni asli jagah pata chal gayi ho gi, now GET OUT before I call the security to throw you out from this room."


Naina is on the floor with tears in her eyes. She is speechless. She doesn't know what is all this, she thinks it's a nightmare but, no it is not, this is reality. Rajveer looks at her and then notices the tears in her eyes.

He turns his back towards her, he notices a tear rolling down his checks, he wipes the tear and thinks to himself in his mind - "ye mujhe kia ho raha hai? Yehi toh chahta tha ke Naina ko takleef ho or us ke aankhoon mein main aansu dekhna chahta tha per phir kyun us ke aansu dekh ke mujhe itni takleef ho rahi hai? Kyun mujhe us ke dard se itna fark parta hai? Haan janta hoon ke mein use se pyaar karta tha lekin jo us ne mere dadaji ke sath kia us ke baad toh mujhe us se nafrat karni chahiya. Kyun mera dil ye baat maanne ko tayar nahi hai? Nahi...mein itni aasani se pigal nahi sakta, nafrat karta hoon mein Naina se...NAFRAT..."


He turns back to Naina, but she is no where in his room, she left from there. Then Sonia comes back to Rajveer's room.

Sonia - flirting and putting her hands around Rajveer's neck - "hey baby!"

Raj - pushing her off from him - "ye lo paisay", handing her the money, "or mujhse door raho...and get lost."

Sonia - shocked - "what the hell? Toh ye sab kya tha? Us ladki, what's that bitch's name? yes, Naina...us ke samne ye natak kyun?"

Raj -Yelling - "mind your tongue Sonia..or jo kaam tumse kaha tha bus utna hi karo, zayada sawal poochne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai."

Sonia - "if you love her, then, why are you doing this to her?"

Raj - "that is none of your business. Now, get lost."

Sonia takes the money and walks out of his room angrily.


Everyone has been looking for Naina everywhere, but, she is no where to be found. Naveen gets worried. He walks towards Naina's room and knocks on her room. He realises that Naina has locked herself in the room.

Naveen - knocking on the door - "Naina darwaza khol...ye kya bachpana hai...maine kaha darwaza khol."

Naina - from inside yells while crying - "chale jayeye yahan se bhaiya...nahi jeena mujhe, mar jana chahti hoon mein."


Naveen's heartbeat stops, he cannot let this happen to his gudiya, he loves her more than his life. He gets worried and decides to break the door.

With the help of Aalekh and Huda, he breaks the door and is stunned to see what's in front of him. He is shocked to see Naina holding a knife in her hand and is about to cut her wrist while she has tears in her eyes. Naveen immediately rushes towards Naina, forcefully takes the knife from her hand and throws it across the room.

Naveen - grabbing her shoulders and yelling - "YE KIA BACHPANA HAI NAINA? TERA DIMAGH TOH KHARAB NAHI HO GAYA? YE KIA KARNE JA RAHI THI TU?"

Naina - tries to push him off but his grip is strong - "Choriye mujhe bhaiya, mein marna chahti hoon, nahi jeena mujhe ab, us insaan ne meri zindagi barbaad kardi hai..."

Naveen - making his grip stronger and shaking her shoulders while yelling - "Hosh mein aa Naina..."

Naina - still trying to push him off - "maine kaha choriye mujhe...CHORIYA MUJHE.."

When Naveen feels that the situation got out of control as he cannot control Naina, he gives her a slap across the face while yelling - "NAINA...HOSH MEIN AA...Tu kis insaan ke liye apni zindagi khatam karne ja rahi hai? jis ko teri or tere pyaar ki koi parwaah nahi hai? Tu us 1 insaan ke liye apni zindagi khatam kar rahi hai? Tune kabhi soocha hai ke mera kya hota agar tu ye beewakoofi kar leti tu? Tujhe kia meri koi parwaha nahi, kia tu apnay bhai se pyaar nahi karti?, wipes her tears and cups her face, "Nahi Naina, tu itni kamzoor nahi hai, tu ek sachi sipahi hai, tu haar nahi maan sakti, tujhe situation se larna parega, samjhi tu?"

Naina cannot control herself anymore and just hugs Naveen tightly and says while crying - "Haan bhaiya, mein laroongi, mein itni aasani se haar nahi maanno gi, ab meri zindagi ka ek hi maksad hai, or wo hai apni mulak ki hifazat karna...Ab meri zindagi mein pyaar jase khatiya ehsaas ki koi jagah nahi hai."

She breaks the hug, wipes her tears, walks two steps and says - "Ab mein dikhoongi ke beizti kisay kehtay hain Major Rajveer Singh Shikhawat, aapko toh mein aapki asli jagah ab mein dikhoon gi..ab apni zindagi ki kahani mein khud likhoon gi..."
