Deewangi - Rajveer-Naina

Chapter 23

She walks up to him and yells "MAJOR RAJVEER SINGH SHEKHAWAT...ENOUGH IS ENOUGH."


Rajveer who is sitting on the couch gets a shock by Naina's sudden behaviour. He, then, looks up and finds Naina who is standing in front of him with her hands on her waist and with an angry look on her face. Rajveer stands up and is nervous to find Naina gazing at him like that. He grabs a file from the table next to him and pretends to read it.

Raj - file still in his hand - "aray tum uth gayi Naina?"

Naina - still gazing at him - "meri choriye, aap mujhe ye batayege ke mein yahan kase aayi Major? Oh sorry, I mean Mr. Badresh Kutty.."

Raj - nervous - "wo...tum..wahan...behosh.."

Naina - angrily - "kya hua Major? Aaj aap ko shabd nahi mil rahe kia? Mein batati hun aap ki cheap harkat ke mein yahan kase aayi."

Raj - looks away pretending to read the file - "ye tum kya keh rahi ho?"

Naina - takes the file from his hand angrily and throws it across the room - "Mein batati hun...mein batati hun aapko aapki cheap harkatoon ke baray mein. Aap ki possessiveness, aap ki insecurities, aapka yoon mujhe per shak karna..Mujhe yoon dhokay se behosh karna...Mujhe yoon takleef dena..."

Now Rajveer gets angry by hearing the last line. He angrily looks at Naina and aggressively grabs her shoulders.

Raj - yells - "mein? Mein tumhe takleef de raha hoon? Tum ye sooch bhi kase sakti ho?"

Naina just jerks his hands off her shoulders aggressively.

Naina - yelling back - "yes Major Shekhawat aap..takleef hi toh dete aa rahe hain mujhe aap shuru se..."

Raj - "kon si takleef di hai maine tumhe? Haan?"

Naina - "oh to ab aap mujhse ye bhi pooch rahe hain? Kyun dia aap ne mujhe itna bara dhoka? Kyun kia mere sath aisa? Na hi mujhe koi wajah batayi or na hi koi explanation di. Jab maine sab bhula ke move on karne ki koshish ki tab aapne mujhe wo bhi nahi karne dia..Jitna mein aapko ignore karne ki koshish karti hun, aapse door rehne ki koshish karti hun utna hi aap mere kareeb aatay hain..Kyun? Agar mujhse itni nafrat kartay hain toh kyun mujh pe apna haq jatatay hain? Kyun mujhe yoon hamesha utha ke le aatay hain? KYUN?"

Raj - yells - "Haan karta hoon mein tumse nafrat..Janna chati ho kyun?"

Naina - yells back - "Haan janna chahti hun mein ke maine aisa kia kiya hai jo aapne mujhe us baat ki itni badi saza di.."

Raj - "Toh phir suno...ye baat jab ki hai jab hum sab dadaji ko chorwa ke wapis KMA ja rahay thay "

Flashback -


After everyone left from that place, Rajveer was going towards his jeep when he got a call from an unknown number. He picked up the phone.

Raj - "hello"

Person - "Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat?"

Raj - "jee haan aap kon?"

Person - "ye zaroori nahi hai ke mein kon hoon.. Agar tumhe apnay dadaji ke kidnappers ka pata lagana hai toh mujhe 25 minutes mein KMA ke bahir milo.."

Raj - "lekin...", the person disconnects the call.

Suddenly Abhimanyu comes there.

Abhi - "Raj, chale ab? Chalna nahi hai kya?"

Raj - "Chauhan saab, aap please sab ke sath KMA wapis jaye mujhe kuch kaam se jana hai, mein thori dair baat aao ga?"

Abhi - "kya baat hai dost? Kahein toh hum aapki madad kare kuch?"

Raj - "Aray nai nai, aap sab ke sath jaye."

Abhi - "theek hai phir hum chalte hain."


Abhi leaves from there. Rajveer starts his jeep and drives towards the place where the person told him to meet. In about 20 minutes, he reaches there. He looks around and finds no one there.

He waits and after 5 minutes, he finds a parcel on the ground behind him. He picks up the package and opens it up. He is shocked to find some pictures in that package. "Ye..ye toh wohi kidnappers hain jinho ne Dadaji ko kidnap kia tha..lekin inh ke sath ye Naina kia kar rahi hai wo bhi paisay detey huye? Aisa nahi ho sakta, Naina aisa nahi kar sakti..", he mumbles surprisingly.

Rajveer finds a note in the parcel. He opens it up and reads it. The note says:

Tumhe yakeen nahi aa raha ke tumhari pyaari Naina ye sab kuch kar sakti hai? Tumhari Naina ne hi tumhare dadaji ko kidnap karwaya tha. Agar yakeen nahi aata toh ye CD dekh lo. Or agar phir bhi yakeen na aaye toh apnay pyare dadaji se pooch lena."

Rajveer finds a CD in the package. He immediately rushes to his room. He puts the CD in his laptop. He is shocked to see what comes on the screen.

He sees that Naina is giving money to those kidnappers and says "jab tak main na kahoon us Rajveer ke dadaji ko chorna nahi hai, samjhay tum log? Ab jao yahan se or dehaan rahe ye baat kisi ko agar pata chali toh tum log nahi bacho ge.". She hands the money to those kidnappers and then, the video ends.

After watching that video, Rajveer has tears in his eyes. He still cannot believe that Naina did all this to him. "Nahi wo aisa nahi kar sakti..meri Naina aisi nahi hai..", he yells while breaking his laptop.

He immediately rushes to his jeep to go and meet his dadaji. After few minutes, he reaches the same house where his dadaji is staying.

Raj - "Dadaji, mujhe aapse kuch poochna hai."

Dadaji - "haan beta Rajveer poocho na."

Raj - "dadaji aap ki kidnapping ke peechay kis ka hath hai?"

Dadaji becomes silent and this is when Rajveer is convinced that it was Naina.

Raj - "kya wo Naina thi dadaji?"

Dadaji - "haan wo Naina hi thi Raj."

Raj - "to ye baat aapne mujhe pehle kyun nahi batai?"

Dadaji - "kyun ke beta us ne mujhe dhamki di thi ke agar maine kuch bola toh wo mujhe maar degi."

After hearing all this, Rajveer comes out of that house in anger and with tears in his eyes. He walks towards his jeep and kicks the tire in anger. He yells, "Main tumhe nahi chooroonga Naina...tum mere sath aisa kaise kar sakti ho? Tum ne mere pyaar ka itna faida uthaya, main toh tumse pyaar karta than na...phir kyun? Kyun kia tumne aisa?", he wipes his tears, "Main tumhe nahi chooroonga...tumhari zindagi barbaad kar doonga mein."

Flashback ends


Present -

Naina - "KYA?"

Raj - "haan..ye hi wajah thi wo..Ab toh tumhe pata chal gaya hai na ke maine aisa kyun kia? Ab tum mujhe batao tum ne kyun kia aisa? Kyun mere dadaji ko kidnap karwaya."

Naina is silent with tears in her eyes.

Raj - "kyun kia hua? Ab koi jawab nahi hai tumhare paas? Ab bolo? Koi explanation hai tumhare paas? Tum itna gir sakti ho ye maine kabhi soocha nahi tha. I am sure ye sab tumne paisoon le liye kia hoga.."

Naina is still silent.

Raj - shaking her shoulders and yelling - "ab do jawab...kyun kia tumne aisa? KYUN?"

Naina is not able to take this crap anymore and she pushes him off her, leading him to fall on the ground. She, then, yells "aap kehtay thay na ke aap mujhse pyaar kartay thay? Wah ye pyaar hai aapka. Kisi ke bhi kehne pe aap ne ye maan lia ke mein itni ghatiya harkat kar sakti hoon? Mujhe sharam aati hai aapki ghatiya sooch pe. 1 baar..sirf 1 baar mujhse aa ke baat toh ki hoti is baray mein...lekin nahi ye tha aapka pyaar..itna hi bharoosa tha aapko mujhpe..Sharam aati hai mujhe apnay aap pe ke main kabhi aapse pyaar karti thi..Aaj se mein aapki shakal bhi nahi dekhna chahti..". After saying all this, Naina leaves from there with tears in her eyes leaving Rajveer behind,

Rajveer gets up and yells, "tum jo marzi keh lo, mujhe pata hai ke tum jhoot bol rahi ho..nafrat hai mujhe tumse...I hate you Naina I hate you..I will destroy you..."

Here outside the house, Naina is running towards the academy while crying, she yells, "I hate you Rajveer I hate you..I will destroy you..I cannot believe aap aisa sooch saktay thay mere baray mein..I hate you.."

At night, Both Raj and Naina aren't able to sleep remembering the incidents that happened.


Next Morning -


Gunny finds Naina jogging outside. He goes up to her.

Gunny - "aray Naina, tum...tum kahan gayi thi kal raat? I was waiting for you."

Naina - "Guuny wo kuch gunday mere peechay thay kal raat.."

Gunny - "What? Are you okay?"

Naina - "yah yah I am totally fine! Mein wahan se safely KMA aagayi thi phir."

Gunny - "Oh thank god!"

This conversation is heard by none other than Rajveer. He leaves from there is anger while mumbling, "How dare she call me a gunda?". He leaves.


Gunny - "but how did that happen?"

Naina - "Oh, mein wapis ja rahi thi toh kuch gunday mujhe pareshaan karne lagay.."

Naina remembering the flashback.

Flashback -

After Naina leaves from that house, she is running towards KMA after hearing Rajveer's words. Suddenly, some people starts to follow her. One man grabs her arm and tries to misbehave with her. But, Naina is Naina! She hits everyone and calls the police.

Flashback ends


Present

Gunny - "Naina...Naina! Naina!!  kahan kho gayi?"

Naina - "haan?...nai kuch nahi.."

Just then, an orderly comes there.

Orderly - "Brigadier Chandok ne faculty meeting bulayi hai or ap dono ka bulaya hai abhi."

He leaves from there.


In boardroom -


Everyone is already present, just then, Naina and Gunny walk in.

Naina - saluting - "Capt Naina Singh Aaluwalia, reporting sir1"

Gunny - saluting - "Major Gunraj Singh Randhawa, reporting sir!"

BC - smiles - "at ease, please come in and have a seat!"

Naina and Gunny both sit and Naina quickly looks at Rajveer who is already looking at her. They both look away.

BC - "so, everyone I have a news for you all. Aaj se KMA mein 1 new faculty member join kar rahi hai. Wo academy mein Cadets ki psychological behaviour ko analyse karegi. She will also help Dr. Shalini in the infirmary."

Gunny - "what's her name sir?"

BC - "Dr. Capt. Vidya Saxena. Wo aaj hi join kar rahi hain. And Major Randhawa main chahta hoon ke aap unhe ye academy dekhaye. Am I clear?"

Gunny - "yes, Sir!"

BC - "very well then, goodbye everyone!"

Everyone leaves when Gunny mumbles, "ye kon hai? Or mein kyun dekhoon academy?", he also leaves.


In Mess -

Everyone is already present when suddenly Gunny walks in mumbling about Vidya. He suddenly collides with someone. He collides with a beautiful girl wearing a simple blue Salwar suit with matching jewellery. She had water in her hand which now falls on Gunny. He looks at her and she looks at him.

"TUM?", "AAP?", they both yell at the same time.

Gunny - "tum yahan kia kar rahi ho? Phir se tum ne mere uppar pani gira diya,"

Girl - "Aap yahan kia kar rahe hain? Sari galti vidya ki nahi thi...and who are you?"

Gunny - "You...", points a finger towards her in anger.

Vidya - "Yes, me?", also points a finger towards him.


Everyone is staring at them when BC walks in. Gunny and Vidya both stop.

BC - "aray aap dono ek doosra se mil chuke hain?", pointing towards Vidya, "ye hai Dr. Capt Vidya Saxena", points towards Gunny, "ye hai Major Gunraaj Singh Randhawa!"

"WHAT?". Both yell

"ye hai wo Dr?", Gunny asks

"ye hai wo Khadoos?", Vidya yells

BC - "Capt Saxena, he is you senior, please behave!"

Vidya - "sorry sir!"

BC leaves

Gunny - "how dare you call me khadoos?"

Vidya - "because you are one!!", smiles sarcastically!

Gunny - "Capt Saxena, you are talking to your senior!"

Vidya - "whatever"

Both Gunny and Vidya leaves on the opposite side of each other, while everyone was there watching these two fighting and they all start laughing.


Just then, Naina goes towards the counter to get her coffee, she is about to fall when a strong hand holds her. Its none other than Gunny!

Gunny - "sambhal kar Naina!"

Naina - "thanks Gunny!"

Gunny - "my pleasure!"

Rajveer is watching all this and fumes in jealousy. Naina without taking the coffee leaves from there and Rajveer follows her.


He grabs her hand and pulls her.

Raj - gabbing her wrist - "Chalo mere sath I need to talk to you."

Naina - pushes him off - "mujhe kahin nahi jana..."

She was about to leave when Rajveer grabbed her arm again tightly this time "I guess you don't have a choice, CHALO!", he drags her forcefully from there to his room.
