Yvonne's POV

I see Dallas as he passes by and is talking to that nerdy girl. The girl isn't even as pretty as I am so why doesn't he talk to me like he's talking to her? He didn't even say thank you for yesterday. I feel a twinge of something but shrug it off. There isn't time to think about such things. I and my Minions have work to do.

Turns out a simple girl in this school looks like she wants a destroy-your-spirit session.

We approach Mindy as she takes some books from her locker.

"Hi Mindy!"

My overly chirped voice makes her books fall to the ground. She picks them up.

"Sorry Mindy. I hope I'm not causing any disturbance. Who cares about that anyway?" I wave my hand in dismissal.

"So let's get to the point." I say and lean my hand on the locker and because I'm tall it gives me the advantage of hovering over her and I smirk.

"A little birdie gave me some information that would definitely interest you. Our Mindy Hamilton was seen coming out from my Zach's house. So I just came to pay you a visit and confirm that information straight from the horse's mouth. You know I don't like gossip."

She looks anywhere but me and gulps.

"So answer my question. Where you there or not?!"

She doesn't answer and that irritates me to the bone.

"Answer me!!" I yell and bang my fist against the locker. She flinches. So pitiable.

Chanelle and Lizzy snicker.

She still doesn't answer and starts to whimper like an abandoned puppy.

"Anyway, let me just make this clear to you. If you don't want to have a very unbearable high school life you better stay away from what's mine."

I don't really like Zach but any chance I get to try to make any so called innocent girl's life miserable I will take it.

I straighten up with an intimidating smile on my face and walk away.

"I'm good!" I smirk and I say to myself.

During break period I head to the cafeteria and sit on my usual table.

"Hey Zach." I say flirtatiously.

"Hey. So how's my favourite girl doing?" He inquires, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Not good. At all."

"Really? Why?" He asks, his blue eyes filled with worry.

I roll my eyes. Only I could identify Zach's acting skills. He is considered the best flirt in the whole school, girls throw themselves at him without him even making an effort. Right now he is acting all concerned but I know he doesn't really mean it. I'm not blind or air-headed. He doesn't interest me the slightest bit but a girl like me is supposed to have her 'perfect man' right?

"Oh just that I heard that Mindy was seen coming out of your house. Is that true?" I ask acting hurt.

He sighs. "You know it doesn't even matter to you right? I'm sure you must have warned her to stay away from me. Just leave her alone."

"Oh really. Just leave her alone you say. It doesn't matter to me you say. You're are mine and only mine."

He leans towards me and says, "Just take it easy babe."

I still act like I'm angry and ignore him, eating my food.

Mr Johnson's class is next. Why does life have to treat me this way? I really hate the man.
He doesn't even teach well and students leave the class more confused than when they just came.
With his potbelly complementing his ogre-like face he disgusts me. I ignore him as usual as he is saying some rubbish about the measures of dispersion in economics.
