6. My Sworn Enemy is the Friend of my Frenemy

Yvonne's POV

We finally get home after a frustrating day. Not that I'm complaining because I know I'm the one that dragged Dallas into this.

But I'm complaining.

I mean why won't I complain when that nerdy won't even help me, even going as far as behaving like the boss even when I created such a beautiful plan for us. Although I have to admit. This is the worst mistake I have ever made in my life. My conscious is even laughing at me right now.

"What happened to you guys?" Alyssa runs to us immediately we reach her home.

"I didn't want to ask exactly why or where you guys were going because I thought you guys were old enough to behave yourselves. Guess I was wrong." She says fuming at us and putting her hands on her hips like a typically worried mother.

Mom would never do that I think. She is too much of a sophisticated person to behave like a typical mother. I don't even miss her one bit.

"Calm down mother. Nothing happened. We're here now, aren't we?" Dallas mumbles.

"Okay, okay. I'm calm. But please don't do this again."

"We won't Alyssa. I promise." I try to calm her down.

"Okay then." She says and goes upstairs.

"I don't even want to know what you guys were up to." Alex that had been quiet for some time comments and walks away.

I turn to Dallas and mutter,"Though we almost landed in a lot of trouble I had fun."

"Yeah, it was pretty crazy. But it was nice. Thanks for the experience."

"Yeah, anytime."

We stare at each other for a while.

And suddenly we burst out laughing.

"That... Was.... So.... Awkward." I manage to say holding my tummy laughing.

"Yeah so awkward."

"Know what let's just go back to trying to kill each other how 'bout that?"

"Good idea." He says still laughing. He has the whitest set of teeth I have ever seen.

Ding!!!! Ding!!!!

I immediately wake up looking for the devilish thing that is ruining my beauty sleep.

"Ughhh!! Why? Why? Why?" I complain almost crying and run my hands through my hair that seems to be all over the place.

After putting a lot of effort into getting up from bed, I dress up and then head downstairs for breakfast.

After that comes the usual screaming from Alex.

I roll my eyes for the hundredth time and get in Dallas' car.

As I get to my locker followed by Chanelle and Lizzy I seem to notice as Marianne passes by that she is giving me a weird look.

I glare at her and open my locker picking out some things.

"Hey babe." I hear a deep velvety voice and turn around to see who it is.

"Oh. It's just you."

I still act upset about the whole Mindy thing so I ignore Zach and walk the opposite direction.

Straight to Mr. Johnson's class.

What am I thinking?
