Dallas' POV
I glance at Yvonne and she doesn't even look the least bit scared. Why can't I be like that at the moment?
A maniacal voice comes up in my head. You could always exchange souls... Wait what?
"We're waiting for your answer Xander."
I look up at the one man that I used to look up to as a mentor but now loath with all my soul and say, "I'm really sorry Father. But I had my 'stupid' amputated two years ago. So I don't think I'll go with this overly stupid idea of me coming back."
"Well, you picked the wrong choice. Son."
I get angrier. "Do you have any idea how many souls were destroyed? How many people were slaughtered because of my stupid choices?" Courage makes me to take a step forward even with my bad leg. "Do you have any idea what me coming back would mean for even you? For those around me? For my family?"
I faintly hear sirens. I know Yvonne heard it too because her countenance changes.
When I face my Dad I notice that he looks thoughtful for a second but swiftly covers it up and frowns. "I thought you were smarter than this son. Too bad for you." He points his gun at an already awakened Alex causing him to recoil into his corner. "Either you say yes or I kill him."
"No!" Yvonne screams. "You ingrate! The police will get you!"
He chuckles. "In this secured facility, nobody can get in."
"Except for Yvonne and I apparently." I mumble.
Yvonne still babbles on. "My parents will make your life hell do you hear that? They'll roast you over a slow fire and you will be given as food to my dogs do you understand that? Imbecile! Coelentrate! Diplodocus! Ectoplasm! Barbarian! Vulture! Psycho-"
"Could you gag her already?" His men use a handkerchief to gag her. "Mm mm mm." She struggles.
"Well, Dallas, it's time to bid your friend farewell." He is about to pull the trigger when we hear grunts outside. He also hears it and goes outside to inspect.
"Don't worry Alex, nothing will happen to you." I assure him but his eyes are still wide in fear.
"Leave me alone! I didn't do anything!" My father says as he enters the room again. Only, he's not alone. He's actually handcuffed and a policeman is behind him.
Another policeman comes to untie us. When he removes the handkerchief from Yvonne's mouth she still continues her rantings. "Centipede! Endoplasmic reticulum! Mosquito! Polar Bear!"
"Polar Bear?" I ask overly perplexed.
She just shrugs. "Don't blame me. I was running out of ideas. Had to call him something."
"What do you think of yourself now? You couldn't have thought of a better name?" I get carried away with arguing with Yvonne again.
"In my defense, Polar bears are actually dangerous, heartless animals. Therefore, I was right to call him a polar bear because it fully describes him."
I shake my head. "You are not being realistic at all. Why would you even-"
"Is this really the best time to do this? Seriously? Like right now?" A policeman comments narrowing his eyes in confusion.
Yvonne glares at me and storms out with Alex. I help my mom get up and we follow behind.
We go outside and see my dad there glaring at us. I glare back as some nurse is treating my injury. The pain I feel presently makes me hate him the more. Yvonne sticks her tongue out at him and my mom, well, leaves my hold and walks towards him, giving him a solid punch, earning cheers and whistles from Alex and Yvonne.
"Yeow my nose!" He howls. "You still have your iron fist don't you Alyssa?"
She doesn't answer him but before she gets in my car she turns and firmly replies, "Don't. Ever. Come near anybody close to me again." Then she gets in.
Inside the car, she begins to cry. "Don't cry for that lowlife mom. You don't have to be sorry for him." I say, comforting her.
She shakes her head. "That's not the reason why I'm crying. Why would I be sorry for that idiot?"
I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "Then what is the reason?"
"My knuckles are aching right now!! I need an icepack." She complains.
I bite my lip from laughing. I see the two others in the car are also trying to do the same.

"Oh! Blessed home! How I've missed you!" Yvonne exclaims.
I glance at her like she has a mental breakdown. "You were here like four hours ago."
"But still." She mentions over her shoulder as she goes upstairs to her room, swaying her hips. Wait... Where did that come from?! Swaying wha?
Mom glances at me and with an ice pack on her knuckles and I notice a slight pain in her eyes. I don't know if it's because of the hurt in her hand or the disappointment she feels for me. She goes to her room not saying anything.
With a slightly blank expression I get to my room and change clothes when I hear the doorbell ring.
"I'm coming!" I shout and go downstairs. What I see when I open the door makes me go into a state of temporary shock.
Crystal is there. But not only her. Two other girls I recognize as Yvonne's other friends are also there along with a group of other people.
Oh.... Shitbiscuits.
