Dallas's POV
So remember when I agreed to go somewhere with Yvonne? Turns out that was the second biggest mistake I could have ever made.
"You know considering how I despise you I tried to be optimistic and think that maybe you wouldn't screw up. Well guess what? You did screw up." I try to say as calmly as I can.
Well if you're a bit confused about what's going on I would like to enlighten you.
We achieved a lot on our little adventure.Nothing much just ended up disturbing the sleep of a creepy man with a large Teddy bear tatoo on his stomach, crashing a person's window, vandalizing a wall, running away from the cops and finally, ending up in the middle of nowhere. So here we are sitting at the side of the road. Drenched with rain, dirty and tired.
I just want to strangle somebody. Yvonne to be exact.
She frowns at me. "Says the one that had to sing off key and wake up that weird guy. Why were you even singing?"
I shrug. "I have no idea. And besides is it a sin to be inspired by a person such as Chris Brown and have the urge to sing his songs at whatever time and place?"
"But seriously of all his songs you had to choose New flame!? I mean seriously even if you wanted to sing you should have picked one of his latest songs."
"Like which one? I thought that was his latest one."
She turns her head around slowly and dangerously.
"What era are you living in?" She asks, her mouth agape.
"Never mind that. We need to look for a way to get home. Fast. Or else my mom will be worried. So will your brother."
"Nahh Alex wouldn't care the least bit." She looks forward as though staring into space.
"You sound really sure about that don't you?"
"Of course I do."
"He may look like he doesn't care but I know he does so I suggest you stop snapping at him every time." I say facing her.
"Stop telling me how to handle my brother." She snaps at me.
I see that she's starting to get angry so I decide not disturb her about it.
"Okay tigress. Hmm. That nickname suits you. I think I'll start calling you that." I mutter and twitch my lips not facing her. I can feel her eyes on me as she just gives me the death glare and doesn't say anything.
"We really need to think of a way to get home." She finally says and gets up.
"How are we going to do that?" I look up at her and for once I can see a hint of maturity in her as she tries to rack her brain weighing the options.
What she says next makes me want to take that back.
"We have to walk all the way. Think of the route through which we landed here and use that to reach our neighborhood." She says with all seriousness.
The expression on my face is the sort of expression that I was preparing to have when Thanos invades earth and destroys half of all life on it. Ahhh. Marvel. The possibilities. If only I can touch or even put on Ironman's suit. I would be the happiest pre-adult alive.
Anyways straight to the point. So I stare at her and she stares back.
"Okay, let's go!! We can't stay here forever. Besides I don't really fortell any miracle coming our way. So let's go."
I think about it and maybe there is a little sense in what she's saying. This is really a bad idea. But... It's the best bad idea we've got. So I get up and go with her.
