Chapter 13: Invading Privacy
(Beth’s POV)
I still can’t believe this turn of events. I feel sick just staring at my brother’s lifeless body. I look up at Andy again in shock. I’m shaking so much.
‘How did you know I was here?’ I manage to say.
‘I don’t want you to be angry but I looked at your texts while you were in the shower.’ He looks down at the floor but not in my brother’s direction.
‘You did what!’ I scream.
‘I’m sorry it’s just you seemed so nervous and scared when you read your text I had to make sure you were ok, you didn’t tell me when I asked you and if I didn’t know where you were, things could have ended very badly.’ He comments.
‘Look around, ANDY! You don’t think this is bad! You may have just KILLED my brother!’ I say while hitting Andy.
‘He was about to KILL you! I wasn’t gunna let that happen! Not over my dead body! Why? BECAUSE I’M IN LOVE WITH YOU!’ he screams at the top of his lungs. I shake even more in shock. Andy Brown just told me he loves me. Tears stream from my eyes.
‘What do we do?! We can’t just leave him here! We have to take him to hospital!’ I order.
‘Then what the doctors ask questions about how this happened and I’m locked away for life?’
‘As you said he was trying to kill me’ I say bitchily.
‘Well the doctors might not see that as a good enough excuse’
‘So we just leave him here? No way not over MY dead body!’ I begin to walk towards me brother’s body but Andy pulls me back by my wrist.
‘Please don’t’ he whispers.
‘I can’t…’ I look towards my brother and feels his pulse. Any hope I had in my heart and soul just escaped. I look up at Andy.
