Mabel's POV

Dipper and I went on a walk through the forest. It was quiet and peaceful. We didn't talk much, which I was grateful for. He didn't ask about Bill, or what he did. I wasn't ready to tell him. I might never be, but I definitely wasn't ready now. The walk kind of helped me clear my mind. Or maybe that was just the new medication I was on.

Probably the latter.

When we got back to the shack, Stan had made dinner and Ford was just getting back up from the lab.

"Hey, whats for dinner?" Dipper walked over to help Stan.

"Eh, just some random stuff I found in the pantry." Which is exactly what it looked like. But it still smelled good.

I was about to sit down to eat, but something caught my eye. I looked over towards the window, which looked as it was glowing yellow. Before my brain could process what it meant, there was a blinding light and a loud explosion. I screamed and thought I felt myself hit the floor. But when I opened my eyes, I was pinned by my throat on the wall. By Bill. He held me to the wall, pure anger written in his eyes. He was panting and looked like he had been drained of energy, but still had enough strength to keep me in place.

"Hey!" I heard Dipper yell. "Get off of her!" He ran towards us but Bill shot him a glare and growled, squeezing tighter around my throat. I brought my hands up to try to pry his grip open, or at least loosen it, but I couldnt. Dipper stopped when he realized I was choking and Bill turned his head and glared back at me. Then he disappeared and I collapsed onto my knees and hands without him holding me to the wall. Dipper and the Stan's ran over to help me while I was gasping for breath.

"Mabel!" Ford bent down to look at me. "Hey, Mabel are you alright?" He shouted at me.

"I- I-" I didn't know how to answer that. I tried to breathe in but ended up in a coughing fit.

"Hey, look at me." I glanced up to look at him. "Dipper, get me a wet and a dry rag." Dipper ran and got them then handed them to Ford, who cleaned a gash I didn't realize I had on my cheek and on my arm from the explosion. "Can you stand up?" He asked once the wounds were wrapped up.

"Yeah," I hesitantly said as he helped me to my feet.

"Mabel is Bill in your head." He looked at me, as well as Stan and Dipper.

"I- I don't-"

"Well not anymore." We all whipped our heads over to where Bill was leaning on the wall, smirking.

"Bill!" Ford yelled.

"The one and only." He laughed and walked over to me. Before he got there, Dipper stood in front of him.

"Stay away from her." Bill laughed.

"Or what Pinetree?" Dipper didn't budge.

"I'm not letting you hurt her again."

"Yeah yeah whatever," Bill waved his hand and Dipper flew across the room and hit the other wall with a bang.

Dipper!" I tried to run to him, but Bill caught my arm and stopped me. I looked at him, pure terror written on my face. Stan went to help Dipper while Ford stayed, glaring at Bill.

"What do you want with her! You already escaped."

"Yes, I did," he pulled me closer to him and tightened his grip. "Sadly, I might need Shootingstar a little longer than I thought." He laughed.

"And why is that?"

"Well, when I was trapped in her mind, I was getting my power from her. Now, I can't exist without her to give me energy."

"What does that mean."

"It means say good bye." He smirked and before I had the chance to even say anything, we disappeared to somewhere else. The last thing I heard was Dipper screaming my name.

When I opened my eyes, we were somewhere completely different. Bill let go of me and walked over to another room. I stood there for a moment, then came to my senses and followed him.

"Hey, what the Hell?"

"Something wrong Star?" He turned around innocently.

"Yes! Why are you doing this to me?" I screamed in his face. I knew it would probably just get me beat, but I didn't care anymore. He just, once again, ripped me from my family.

"I told you, I need you for powers." He said calmly. "Now watch the way you speak to me. Got it." I backed up slightly, but my anger didn't waiver.

"You can't just keep me here!" I was on the verge of tears. "Please, I want to go home!"

"No." He tilted his head and kept his gaze on me. I was in tear at this point. I dropped to my knees and sat on the floor, my head on my hands. I started to cry.

"Please!" I cried. "I just want to go home!" He knelt down and removed my hands from my face.

"How about we make a deal?" He raised an eyebrow.

"You're insane if you think I'll make a deal with you!"

"I'm insane either way Star." He laughed. "But really. How about you stay here for as long as I need. I promise to not hurt your family while you're here, and I'll use you to get my power."

"And what do I get?"

"I'll cure your depression and anxiety." My eyes widened.

"But I thought you were what was causing it?"

"No. I was only making it worse. You actually have them. But I can get rid of them for you."

"You can?" I looked at him hopefully. I wanted so much to be rid of it. He held his flame engulfed hand out to me.

"Of course I can. I'm a dream demon. Master of the mind. You of all people should know I'm powerful enough to do anything."

Not without me apparently. I thought bitterly.

"So do we have a deal?" I hesitated, then reached out and shook his hand. The flames ran through me, then disappeared. "Great!" he let go of my hand. "Now I have some things to do. I'll be back in a few hours to get more energy." With that he left me on the floor, realizing my mistake.

I had just made a deal with the devil.
