Mabel's POV

The day after Bill and Dipper rescued me from Tad, life got good. Everything seemed to work out. Dipper was fine from his injuries, and so was I.

Ford wasn't too happy that Dipper had sided with a demon over him, and much less happy when he found out I was dating said demon. So we decided it wasn't the best to stay in the Mystery Shack. Stan was bummed, but we visit often.

Bill took me back to his house, and we got by with the limited energy he had. Dipper went to the college he had the internship for and was currently working on his master's degree.

He basically lived at Bill's house with us but had a small study apartment near his college as well.

I started online school, something I could silly do from Bill's house without the stress of going somewhere. I had already gotten my high school diploma and was an online English major now. I figured writing would be something I could easily do from home, and still feel like my life was decently normal. Even though I was living with a demon.

Bill mostly stayed at home. His powers came back slowly, but we didn't think it would be enough to cure me anytime soon though. But that was fine. I was getting better already. I stopped cutting completely, and Bill helped me monitor my moods so I could control them more easily.

Even though Ford didn't like the idea of me being with Bill, he still got my pills to me so I had something to help. I was sure Stan talked him into it though.

My parents think I was living with Dipper, studying as an English major. Which wasn't a complete lie. We just left out the whole dating a demon thing.

So, all in all, life was good. Every day Bill and I fell more in love and it seemed like I was apart of something again.

I had a family, and nothing could take that away now.

-----------

"It's beautiful," I gleamed as we

"I knew you'd like it." He pulled my hand up and kissed the back of it. I giggled and turned to him, planting a quick kiss on his lips.

We hiked closer to the waterfall and found an entrance to a small cave behind it. The light came through the water and hit the walls, making the cave a light blue color. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Not as beautiful as you." I turned to Bill who paid no mind to the cave and only looked at me.

"Quit reading my mind," I smiled and walked back to him.

"Sorry," he chuckled. I laughed and walked over to a large rock in the cave and sat down on it. Bill quickly walked over with me and sat down next to me. "Mabel?"

"Yes?" I replied, slightly shocked hearing my real name from him.

"Are you happy?" I giggled and kissed him on the cheek.

"Very. Are you happy?"

"As long as you are." I smiled at that and rested my head on his shoulder. There were a few minutes of silence with nothing but the roaring of the water fall to fill the caves. Just me, and Bill. Nothing else.

"Mabel, there's something I need to ask you."

"Hmm," I hummed in response.

"So, I don't really know much about it, I actually had to ask Dipper for advice because it's not exactly a demon tradition."

"What is?"

"This." I looked up and saw Bill was holding something out to me. A box, with a slender silver ring in it. I instantly shot up and covered my mouth with my hands.

"Bill-"

"Demons don't really get married, well, demons don't really love usually, but I know for a fact that I want to spend forever with you. So, Mabel Pines, my Star, will you marry me?" I looked up at him and quickly nodded.

"Yes."
