Mabel's POV

I was on the floor of my cement cell with my back slumped against the wall. The only things keeping me up were the chains holding my wrists. The cold metal cut into my skin, making the blood run down from my wrists to my arms. But I didn't care.

I stopped caring a while ago and just sat there doing nothing. After Tad finished 'my lesson' he left me here. I was bleeding from several spots, Including my head injury which still left the side of my face covered in blood.

My hips were so sore from when he raped me that I couldn't move them. I still tasted him in my mouth and it made me want to throw up. I thought Bill was bad, but I would rather go through the year that Bill put me through than an hour with this monster.

I was starting to lose hope for anyone coming to save me. Bill still hadn't come, which I thought was a bad sign, and Dipper and Ford wouldn't even know I was gone. I was alone.

"Aww don't be like that." I jerked my head up to see Tad standing at the door to my cell. "You still have me." He smirked and I put my head back down. "Hey, I've got a question," he mused. I didn't respond. "How long did Bill go in-between taking power from you. A day? Two days?" I kept my head down and still didn't respond. He laughed in response. "Well, it's been a little over a day," he chuckled. "So I'm sure he'll be dead soon." I slightly whimpered at that. "I'll know when he is, but I already sensed him running out, so it shouldn't be long before he's finally dead." He laughed

So there really is no hope. I looked up at him, tears flooded my eyes. I wanted so badly to yell at him, to scream at him, to get up and run away, to fight back and get to Bill, because no matter much he has hurt me, he always seemed to actually care. And the thought if him dying broke my heart just as much as the thought of being stuck here forever.

But I didn't. I just put my head back down and shut my eyes. A few of my tears escaped and ran down my face, making my cuts sting.

"Well, I've got some stuff to do so don't get comfy. But don't worry," he sang in a dangerous tone. "I'll be back soon enough." He laughed, then walked away. I brought my knees closer to my chest in an attempt to get more comfortable, but it was hard with my hands chained above me.

This is it...

I'm stuck here forever, with Tad. I let the tears fall freely on my face. My life is officially a living Hell.

Bill's POV

"How the hell did you even get my power anyways Pinetree?" We sat in the lab, trying to figure out how to get to Tad and find Mabel. We were about to teleport there, but something blocked me. Tad had never been powerful enough to keep me out, so I had no idea what he was doing. Pinetree was currently trying to fix the portal to see if that would work.

"I was looking at the memory capsule for Mabel, the one we got when we stopped Weirdmeggedon, and I found some weird results from the testing. I already knew her memories wouldn't be in there since she still had them, but when I looked closer at it, I found your power. But not just regular power, like the stuff most beings in Gravity Falls emit, it was different. More powerful. I assumed that it had to be why you could regenerate power on your own."

"And when you found it, Ford wouldn't let you give it to me?" I glanced over at Ford. He woke up a while ago so I just knocked him out again. Pinetree seemed guilty, but he didn't protest me.

"At first he didn't say anything, but I knew he didn't exactly like the idea of giving you all your powers back."

"What about you?" He stopped what he was doing and turned around to face me.

"I just want my sister back." He looked down, then turned back to what he was doing.

"We'll get her back."

"And then what?" He asked without turning around.

"What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Is she going back with you, or coming home?" I hesitated before answering.

"The deal says she comes home now that I have my powers," I said, a little more depressed than I meant to sound.

"Good," Pinetree said as he stood up from the portal and walked towards me. "She needs to be around the people who care about her. That's how she'll get better," he spat bitterly as he walked past me. I couldn't help but let my face fall at that. But I knew to was true. She wasn't getting any better being around me.

"Well," I turned around to look at him leaning over a desk. "The deal also says that I cure her, so I'm sure that will help."

"Yeah," he muttered. "If you can." I raised an eyebrow.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked defensively. He sighed and looked up at me.

"I don't even know if you can."

"Of course I can. Why the hell wouldn't I?"

"If you could why haven't you by now!" He yelled, slamming his fists down. My face went white.

"...I-"

"You claim to love her, you act like you actually care, but if you really do, then why haven't you!"

"I don't know." I cast my eyes down. "I was just afraid to lose her I guess."

"Well, now we have." I looked up and he was now crying. "She's gone, and I can't get her back." He grabbed the papers from the desk and ripped them up, throwing them on the floor. "The portal won't work. When you let open the rift to start Weirdmeggedon, you created a force that shuts everything else out. It's impossible to open it again." He sat down in defeat. "We can't get her back." I watched him sit there, chocking back his sobs. I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry. I wanted to throw something, punch a wall, blame everyone else for this.

But I couldn't, it was my fault.

"Let's keep trying."

"Do you have any bright ideas?" He asked sarcastically.

"I don't know!" I threw my hands in the air. "But we can't give up. Mabel needs us."

"There's no other way. Unless you can teleport us." I groaned in frustration.

"It should be working. I have no idea why I can't get there. Tad isn't strong enough to keep me out so why is he doing this. He'll-" I stopped, realizing something.

"He'll what?"Pinetree asked.

"He'll run out of power," I whispered mostly to myself. "He can't keep me out for long because he'll run out of power!"

"Then how is he doing it?" Pinetree stood up.

"Don't you see! He knows he can't keep me out forever, so he's waiting until I die. He thinks I still need Mabel to give me power! He knows he can't keep this forever, but he thinks he doesn't have to!"

"So... how much longer will he keep it up?"

"He can sense when I'm dead, so he's waiting for that probably."

"Well, you're very much not dead. So what do we do?" I paused for a moment.

"I've got an idea. It's a stupid idea, but it might just work...

...or get us both killed."
