Mabel's POV
"No!" I screamed and ran out to Dipper.
"So it seems you already got her?" Tad raised an eyebrow and Bill caught my arm and pulled me away before I could reach Dipper.
"I couldn't resist," Bill smirked.
"Let go of me!" I trie to pry his grip off my arm Bill didn't acknowledge me and just pulled me harder. "Bill! You can't do this to Dipper!" No response.
"So, you keep the boy and the power and I can leave with her?"
"Yes, that was the deal."
"No!" I screamed and turned to face Bill. "How could you do this! We can't just leave Dipper." Bill gripped my arm tighter, to the point where it hurt.
"Mabel dear," he chimed sarcastically. "Shut up," he seethed, pulling on my arm for emphasis.
"No! We can't-"
'I have a plan,' he said calmly in my head. 'Please calm down. It's going to be okay.'
I looked up at Bill, and immediately calmed down. He has a plan. I trust him. He'll get us out of here. Bill looked back up at Tad. I glanced down at Dipper, who looked scared for his life. There was no way I wanted him to go through what I did. And certainly not forever. I was only here a few days and it was worse than Hell.
"Well, Tad. I guess I'll be going. I'd say it was nice seeing you, but it wasn't," Bill chimed bitterly. Tad just laughed.
"Well, it was certainly nice to get half of your powers," Tad smirked. "Wouldn't that make me the most powerful demon now?"
"Yeah," Bill chuckled. "About that... someone once told me you shouldn't take power from people you don't trust." Bill's smile dropped and he started coldly at Tad, who just looked confused. Then, his face drained of color with the realization of what he meant.
"No!" Tad screamed as he lunged at Bill. As if on cue, he dropped to the ground screaming. Blue flames started to cover him and burn him from the inside out. "Ahg!" He screamed in agony.
"Well Tad, pleasure doing business with you," Bill said calmly as he walked over to pick up Dipper. "But I'm afraid we have to get going now, so I will see you later. But, probably not, since you'll be dead." And with that, Bill looked at me with a cocky grin and teleported us back home.
But not his home.
The mystery shack.
"Dipper!" I shouted and ran over to him as Bill laid him down on a table in the lab. I cupped his face in my hands, but he wasn't responding. "D-dipper! Wake up! Please!" I checked his pulse. It was still there, but barely. "Bill-" I looked up at him.
"Go get Ford." I didn't hesitate to run upstairs to Ford.
"Ford!" I yelled as I got upstairs.
"Mabel!" I turned my head to see Stan in the kitchen.
"Stan! Where's Ford!" The shock didn't leave Stan's face.
"How are you-"
"We're losing Dipper! Where's Ford!" Stan didn't hesitate to run up to the attic. I followed him as he unlocked the door and opened it. Why was it locked?
"Stanley! What the Hell do you think you're-"
"Grunkle Ford Dipper's in the lab! He's dying, come quick!" I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room. Once he was out he ran in front of me and headed down the stairs, then in the vending machine to the lab.
When we all got down there, Bill was standing over Dipper trying to clean some of the blood off of him.
"Move demon," Ford spat and shoved Bill out of the way. Bill didn't protest as Ford took over. "Can't you heal him?" Ford muttered bitterly without looking up from Dipper.
"No. My energy's gone."
"Pfft," Ford scoffed. "Sure." Bill didn't respond to defend himself.
I watched as Ford swiftly worked on Dipper, wrapping up a few of the deeper wounds instantly.
"Is he going to be okay?" I asked, walking over to my twin.
"I'm sure he will be. He just lost a little too much blood is all." Ford walked over to a drawer and pulled out supplies to stitch up some of Dipper's wounds. "How did this happen anyway?" He asked, walking back over.
"Another demon did this to him. I'm not exactly sure what happened though."
"The same demon that kidnapped you?"
"Yeah." It was silent after that. I just sat next to Dipper, watching Ford heal some of his wounds. Eventually, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Mabel, come here." I turned around to see Bill and stood up to follow him. He sat me down on a table and started to look at some of my injuries. Most of them were minor cuts, except the one on my head. He worked on that one first. Luckily my skull wasn't cracked, there was just a huge gash on my right temple.
He cleaned the dried blood off of it first, then went to work putting something on my head to keep it from bleeding again. Then he started looking at the bruised on my neck. There wasn't much he could do about those though. He told me I could ice them if they hurt, but I was fine. Then he looked at my wrists and just wrapped them both up.
"Alright, that should be fine for now." I pushed myself off the table I was sitting on and looked over at Dipper. He was still unconscious. "Mabel, you should go up and get some sleep."
"But-"
"Dipper will be fine. I promise. You need to rest though." I hesitantly nodded and let Bill lead me up to the attic.
When we got there, I couldn't hold it in anymore. I threw myself into Bill and started sobbing on him. He seemed surprised for a moment, then picked me up and sat on the bed with me on his lap. I cried into his shoulder while he rubbed my back in an attempt to confront me.
"It's going to be alright Mabel. You're safe now. I promise. Nothing else can hurt you."
"T-thank you," I stuttered out. "Thank you f-for s-s-saving me," I tried to get the words out, but I didn't even know if I could. All I could do was cry on his shoulder, while he sat there with me.
Eventually, I think I cried myself half to sleep because I jolted awake when I almost fell off his shoulder.
"You okay?" He looked at me.
"Y-yeah." I took a shaky breath and wiped my tear stained face. "I'm alright."
"That's good." I leaned back into him and wrapped my arms around his neck and shut my eyes. "You tired?" He chuckled. I hummed in response. "Alright," he sighed and slowly set me down on the bed. After he pulled the blankets over me, he was about to walk away but I grabbed his hand.
"Please stay with me," I whimpered, and looked at him. His eyes widened in shock, but he slowly nodded.
"Y-yeah." He walked back over and laid down next to me. I buried my face in his chest and he wrapped his arms around me."
"You're okay," he breathed. "You're safe now." Though I couldn't tell if he was trying to re assure me, or him.
