Greg's entire family went to the late service at the temple in Los Angeles on Saturday. It was the day after his actual birthday, but the same day the party to celebrate his 60th birthday was planned. The party would be in the evening, leaving plenty of time to do things beforehand.

Alan and Cindy woke roughly an hour before Greg and the rest of the family planned to leave. They came into the house from the cottage to find their daughter safely sleeping in the Abernathy's bassinet.

"I forgot you had this," Alan said with a grin, looking more relaxed than he had the day before.

"So did I, and I was at Susan's baby shower when she received it," Cindy said.

"I hope you don't mind we got it out for Olivia to use," Susan said.

"No," Cindy told her. "She looks happy in there."

"She's sleeping you mean," Alan said.

"Too bad she can't learn to do that at night," Cindy remarked.

"Speaking of sleeping, how are the two of you?" Susan asked.

"Good ... I got six hours uninterrupted after you left with Olivia," Alan said. "It's surprising how much of a difference it makes."

"I did too," Cindy said. "I almost feel guilty telling you that, considering I missed a feeding and everything."

"You shouldn't. Greg was more than pleased to give Olivia her bottle, and she got plenty of attention from both her grandparents this morning while I was working on breakfast," Susan said as she continued to work in the kitchen.

"Is it ready?" Cindy asked.

"Almost," Susan said.

"Do you need help?" Cindy wondered.

"Not really," Susan told her.

"Then where is everybody?" Alan wondered.

"Getting dressed for services," Susan said. "They're going to the late service at the temple in Los Angeles this morning."

"Of course," Alan said with a frown.

"You don't have to go with them, Alan, if you'd rather stay here," Susan said.

"No, I'll go. Dad will expect it," Alan said. "What about you, Cindy? Are you going to come, or stay here with the baby?"

"We could take her with us," Cindy said.

"If we do that, somebody is going to ask about her naming," Alan said.

"It is likely someone will ask regardless," Greg said as he came down the steps, into the kitchen.

Alan groaned at Greg's comment and his father arched a brow.

"I won't insist on discussing it if you don't wish to, however I wouldn't expect your mother to be so accommodating," Greg said.

"I know ... and I also know it's something we should do ... but it's taken Cindy so long to recover ... I know she wants to be there, so I keep putting it off. This is the first time she's felt up to going anywhere ... and that's only because we knew we would have help, once we got here," Alan explained.

"That is true," Cindy said, defending her husband. "I haven't felt like myself since Olivia was born. I'm still not sure I really do."

"We haven't forgotten about it, really," Alan told his father. "It's just that ..."

"Cindy hasn't felt well enough," Susan guessed.

"Yes," Cindy said. "Do you know ... I haven't been to the synagogue at all since Olivia was born? I think Alan's been once."
