52. UnLucky Day

Hi, players! Sorry to break your hearts for so long, I really am sorry,  and I'm crying inside. :'(

Good news, however, I just took the CPA board exam and passed! That's why I was really busy during the past months.

Lumabas ng sasakyan ang isang pamilyar na lalaki na naka jeans and blue polo. 

And it is Andrei Romualdez. Lucky you, Maribel. 

" Are you ok, miss? Are you hurt somewhere?" 

This is my chance! 

I fell down on my knees and pretended to faint. This way, he would come near me. 

"Miss!" I heard him called. And then he came to me. 

He checked my pulse and forehead. And I heard his worried hisses. He lifted me up and put me on the backseat of his car. 

" Stay still, Miss. This is bad. Where to go?" I heard his hurried murmurs and panic. 

Umandar na ang sasakyan. Baka matuluyan ako sa ospital at this case, kaya naman time na siguro para magising. 

"Ahhhh..." I pretended to be with a headache and rose up from my seat. 

The shocked guy looked at me on the car's front mirror. " You're awake! Are you okay, miss? Geezz, I was so nervous!" 

" What happened?" I asked him. 

" You fainted, madam. " He answered in a concerned voice. 

"Oh, I might be just shocked. I'm sorry. It happens often." I hate to lie with this innocent looking man, but then if you're a player, you could get used to this for so long. And sometimes you will think of it as just normal. 

" Do I need to take you to a nearby hospital?" He asked. 

I gestured no. " Oh, no, I have my personal doctor, I'll call him. My case is a special one." I smiled and thought of the person I will call. Syempre, si King yun. "Just drop me somewhere, Sir. I will be fine." 

The man remained quiet and stayed still. 

"So this is how your school works, huh?" He hissed. 

What? Kilala nya ba ako? Sino ang lalaking to?

He continued. "I should have pretended not to know and bring you straight to hell."  

" Excuse me? Are you okay, Mr. Romualdez?" Oooops, mali. Nalaman nyang kilala ko sya. You're doomed Maribel. 

" I know who you are. A friend told me over the phone. He told me to be careful this time." He drifted the car and caused our bodies to sway.  

Am I in danger? This is bad. Kailangan kong macontact si King. 

I moved my hand inside my bag to find my phone. 

" Are you looking for this?"  Ngumiti sya sa dash mirror. 

" Give it to me." I calmly told him. 

When he was not moving an inch, I shouted. " Give it to me! I will call the police!"

I saw the phone ring. Si King!

" Ohh, this might be your personal doctor? What a cool name." He commented.  Pinatay ni Andrei ang telepono at itinapon iyon sa bintana ng sasakyan. 

"What did you do!" I am dead nervous right now. Ano bang kailangan ng lalaking ito sa akin. At bakit parang galit na galit sya? "Okay, I got you. You know me, did I do something bad to you? What do you want?! Why are you doing this!?" I asked in a desperate tone. 

He hissed again. " Kayo! Kayo ang problema ko! You fucked up people playing hearts! And you don't even know how you are all wrong! " Ramdam ko ang galit at pagkamuhi sa tono nya. 

Natahimik ako. Is he, hurt before? By someone like us? 

Nagpatuloy sya. " You are all liars. And right now, I saw with my very own eyes how you lie to me. And that is so fu***d up! Mga halimaw kayo!" 

Napalunok ako. Nakita ko ang sarili ko sa kanya nung hindi pa ako pumasok sa academy. 

Nagpatuloy sya. "And you approached me? For what? To make me fall and leave me after? Just like that?! Ang hilig nyo maglaro! Sana maramdaman nyo naman mapaglaruan!" 

That hit right there. I understood where he is coming from. 

I heard his phone rang. 

He picked it up, and answered. " Hello? Yes, bro. I got her. Pick her up. Baka kung ano pa magawa ko dito"
