Jenn's P.O.V
I woke up with a shock and sat up from my bed. Nightmares were becoming a common occurrence, unfortunately. This one had made me realize I had never told Jc what Connor said, I just forgot. I never meant to keep anything from him, so much was going on and I didn't even know he was alive!
Even my mind is rambling because I know I've dug a hole too deep to get out of. The clock says 8:31 am but my heart says the end
I make my way to the shower while gathering my necessities in hopes that the water will drown out the bad thoughts. I wait for the water to steam before getting in (don't comment "omg she didn't take off her clothes" because maybe that's how she rolls.)
After my long shower I blow dry my hair and apply some makeup I head downstairs for breakfast. I grab a bowl out of the cabinet and spin around to see a tired yet ready for the day Andrea.
"Hey" She yawns
"Hey, where are you headed?" I ask while grabbing another bowl for her
"I could say the same about yourself," She grabs a box of cereal and pours herself some "I have a shoot with AwesomenessTV. What about you?""
"Oh, I couldn't sleep" She hands me the cereal and I pass her the milk
"Any reason why?" she asks. The thing about Andrea is she will talk to you about anything but she's not one of those people who force it out of you.,
"I messed up," I say and try to think of how I'm going to explain it to her.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She seems genuinely worried.
"Do you have time?" I shovel some cereal in my mouth
"Two hours, Go for it" She gives a weak smile
I tell her everything that has happened from the kidnapping, to Connor, to not telling Jc, and then to my thoughts about it. All she does is sit there and listen giving the occasional nod until I'm done rambling.
"What are you going to do?" She says after a slight pause to see if I'm done.
"What are my options?" I sigh
"You could tell Jc the truth and risk him being upset, or you could hold onto the guilt; that doesn't seem very wise because its been 3 days and you're already on the verge of ripping your hair off your head." She says softly
"But what if he gets too upset and breaks up with me" I say with tears threatening to pour over the brim of my eyes
"Jenn there's no good way too put this so I'm just going to say it," She inhales a jagged breath "He kissed another girl while you were dating. Even if it was an accident he still cheated on you. And don't you think he should've tried to explain afterwards?"
"Why does everyone keep saying that," I whimper, tears now streaming down my face "People make mistakes"
"I'm sorry but people also try to fix their mistakes and he obviously didn't take the time to do so." She stands up
"I have to go, sorry" She pulls me into a hug
"Thank you" I say when we release each other
"I'll always be here for you, Just not right now I really have to go" She laughs
"Have fun!" I call after her as she heads to the door.
"Call Jc!" She yells and the door slams shut behind her.
And that's what I did; after a long time of silence I grabbed my phone, the lock screen read 12:14 pm and the picture was one of him and I on the ferries wheel when he asked me to be his girlfriend. I unlocked my phone and hovered my finger over his contact name.
The only way this could go was down.
I tap his name and hold the phone to my ear as it rings.
"Hey beautiful! What's up?"
"Hey, um.. Are you free?" My hands start to shake.
"Yeah, Is something wrong?"
"I need you to come over and find out please" tears dampen my face again.
