Failure Number 21

I am in love with my roommate, Sawyer Hartman, and I have absolutely no idea how to tell him. Great. Also I'm pretty sure he's in love with Tyler Oakley. They're both the same type of guy - cool, fun, hot - what would he want with a boring geek like me? Besides they do so many drunken videos together. I'm convinced and it breaks my heart. I really need to tell him. Soon. I've tried before so many times, but I can never quite get the words out and then I just end up running away. The way things are going I'll be telling him on my deathbed.

I walk downstairs and see Sawyer on the couch texting someone. Probably Tyler. No. I will not lose him to Tyler Oakley.

"Hey," I say as I sit down on the couch, next to him. "We need to talk."

I say it serious enough for him to put his phone away. Take that Tyler!

"Sure, what about?"

He looks at me with those beautiful, shinning blue eyes and I'm frozen. Crap. No, I can do this!

"Well, we have know each - no wait - I have been feel - no - When..." No, I can't do this.

"Joey are you okay? You've been doing this a lot lately." He puts his hand on my shoulder and I'm gone, I blush so hard and thoughts just fly around in my head.

"Ihavegottagosorrybye!" I yell super fast and dart upstairs. Failure number 21.

I fall onto my bed face first, humiliated and defeated.

A couple of minutes later Sawyer knocks on my door and asks:

"Are you okay?"

Aww, he cares about me, but I can't tell him why I'm acting so weird. I decide to lie.

"I'm fine, just tired."

"Okay, well get some rest, I'll be at Tyler's to do a collab, I'll be back in a few hours."

Tyler.

I hear the door and have a little cry to myself.

"I love you," I whisper.

There I said it.
