Some platonic/brotp Kidge - also slightly ooc Lotor \_(•~•)_/
Katie struggled to take a deep breath, she seemed to be hung somewhere by her wrists; her lungs felt squished inside her chest.
"You're awake." Lotor commented coldly. "I've learned quite a bit about you. You tend to mutter in your sleep. You have a friend called Matt. You miss home." He smiled, a cruel smirk that made his resting bitch face seem like nothing.
"Go away, prince asshole." She growled. Lotor frowned.
"Such hostility. I gave you to opportunity to surrender, you know. As I remember, you decided to keep fighting." Lotor gestured towards her. "It's a shame that it ended up like this, isn't it? You could've been part of the New Empire."
He smiled suddenly. "You can still be a part of the new empire. You're quite the fighter. No galra girl is like you."
"I'll never join you." Katie hissed. "I would never join someone like you. And I know my friends well enough to know that they'll never give in to you." The prince only smirked.
"But you're the strongest of your friends." Lotor noted, stepping within arm's reach of the green paladin.
"And that means I can kick your ass." Katie countered, swinging towards him feet-first. Lotor laughed and sidestepped her would-be attack.
"You were saying?" He smirked again and walked out. "I'll have you at my side soon." He called to her. The door hissed shut, leaving Katie alone, confused, cold, and tired.

When Katie woke up, the first thing that she noticed that her armor was gone. She was now in her simple, black, skin-tight under armour. The second thing she noticed was Keith and - to her surprise - her father and brother. They stood in front of her, a scowl on Keith's face and expressions of confusion on her family's.
"I'll make you a deal." Lotor's cold voice entered the room, though it was evident that he wasn't there with her. "If you join me and agree to my terms, then I will let you free one of these prisoners."
"I..." Katie looked at her family, her biological family and Keith, who had become like a second brother to her.
"Pidge, don't you d-" Keith was cut off by his own muffled grunts of pain as an electric shock was administered by his cuffs.
"I won't agree unless you free all of them." Katie said aloud after a few long moments of silence.
"That wasn't an option." Lotor's amusement was evident in his voice.
"Well, if you really want me, you have to free them." Katie said confidently. How her voice never wavered, she did not know. Inside, she was shaking, trying to find a way not to give in, but there was no way out other than to agree.
"You drive a hard bargain, princess. I accept." Guards walked into the room and began to escort the prisoners out.
"Wait! Can... Can I tell them something?" Katie asked, eyeing her father and brother.
"You should have listed that in your terms." Lotor laughed. "If you say anything about coming back for you, they will die. Choose your words wisely."
"Matt..." The short haired boy's head snapped up. He looked at her, studying her eyes with curiosity, then cold, hard realization.
"No... No! How?! Why?!" Tears were forming in his eyes.
"Keith can help you find your glasses. He knows where they are - probably on my bed still. I brought them with me." She smiled bitterly.
