[just to clarify, the Allura, 'Shiro' and Keith that were hating on Lance weren't real, just mental torture devices taken from Lance's deepest fears]

Shiro woke up with an ache in his head and a pain in his neck. The bright side was, he wasn't dead... The downside was, he was really fucked up. Everything seemed really distant and just wrong.

"Hello?" He whispered, hoping for an answer from another prisoner. Nothing happened. "Please..." Remembering the galra, he was almost glad that nobody was there with him. Almost.

His name is Lance?

Yeah

That must be one hell of a coincidence... So is it Keith? Hunk? Allura? Pidge? Which one of you?

LANCE?!

Indeed.

Oh my God, you're alive! I can't believe it!

Honestly, neither can I...

I would gladly write with you for hours, but we need to find you. Do you know which shop you're on?

The one with Zarkon on it? And Haggar. If that helps.

Actually, it does. And, this is Keith, by the way. I can't even begin to take this in. I just can't, you know?

I'd be a little more shocked if I weren't locked in a prison in space for being the pilot of a giant magic cat.

Ha ha ha.

I'm not making a joke, mullet man.

I still think mothman would make a better husband than you.

Before Lance could write an answer, Haggar and her guards stormed into his cell.

"Come with me." She growled.

Lance, I didn't mean to offend you! I'm sorry about the mothman thing. Lance tried to hide Keith's newest message to him, but the bright blue ink showed up on his darker skin.

"What is that?" Haggar asked suddenly, pulling his arm up. "Who is Lance? What is a mothman? Have you been transmitting information to rebels? How?!" The witch shot an endless barrage of questions at the paladin, causing his joy to turn to anxiety. Shit.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Lance said, sounding less confident than he felt (which was quite an accomplishment, seeing as he wanted to melt into a puddle and be sucked out of an airlock).

"I'm sure I can help jog your memory." Haggar sneered. The guards pushed Lance forward, and he had no choice but to walk with them. He knew it'd be worse if he didn't.

Once they had him strapped to a table, Haggar asked him again about the writing. Lance didnt answer, just stared at the ceiling. He wouldn't betray Keith's trust, not ever.

"You could just answer. It'd be so much easier for you."

"If I tell you even the tiniest detail, the entire universe could feel the backlash." Lance stated. He had gained a little more confidence, enough to ignore Haggar and not break into tears. But Lance was not the only stubborn one - Haggar was determined to get something out of him. No matter what it took.

"We need to track Zarkon and Haggar!" Keith shouted, running into the dining room. The whole team looked up in shock, though Keith could tell Pidge and Matt were already working on a way to cater to his request.
