Weeks after the birthday party, has anything changed? Did he chase her? Are they together again?

No.

And yes, you that right. He loves her still but he was too coward to take the risk. He wanted to go after her but his knees weaken.

Call it coward but for him, it just a way of doing the right thing and keeping everything the way they are meant to be. Who would want his daughter to live by a broken family? He doesn't want it and neither did he want to mess up Lea's life too. And so for him, that is the bravest decision he had ever made so far: setting the love of his life free.

"Atty." Lea's secretary called her but she isn't responding. "Ms. Lea.." another attempt but she seemed to be really spacing out. "Mrs. Chien?" she finally looked at her.

"Ano yun?" her secretary gave her a known smile. "We have some visitors from different colleges and state universities. Aspiring lawyers."

As soon as she heard those, she fished out her lip tint and put some her lip with that sexy red color even if she doesn't need to for, as usual, she is already beautiful. After a few moments, she smiled at her secretary as if asking if she looks good.

"Always.. Should I let them in now?"

She nodded in response and stood to welcome the students. Almost twice a year, students from different colleges and universities, as mentioned, come to see and visit how a lawyer's life is in a firm even for one day.

"Good morning, future lawyers!" the students' eyes seemed to glow with hearing her words. 'Future lawyers' hearing that from one of the most respected lawyers of the country. Isn't it so encouraging?

"So" she looked at them and smiled her sweetest.., "Welcome to my company... Oh! It's my and my future husband's law firm." Everyone looked so giddy with the mention if future husband but they are all too shy to react except for one lady who giggled.

Lea looked at the young lady and had to carefully swallow a lump on her throat. "TJ! You're here!" She just smiled at Lea.

After a few minutes of touring them around, Lea gave some lectures about how being a lawyer is, how challenging it could be, advantage and disadvantages, some of the lessons she learned, tips and she gave them a big question they'll have to find the answers themselves..

"Sigurado na ba kayo sa landas na gusto n'yong tahakin?" they all laughed and fell into silence again.

She took a deep breath before talking again.. "But really, think twice, thrice and oh! Multiple times! Hindi s'ya madali. And they say that this profession is one the dirtiest job you could ever have. But that depends. Nasa sa iyo naman iyon – sa prinsipyo, pinaninindigan at pinaglalaban mo. But one thing I can definitely advise to you is, do not let money control every decisions you do, little kiddos."

They started walking back to her office so they can have their snacks together. But before they completely got back, Lea added,

"Don't let money get into everything you do. It will jeopardize you, will mess up your head, your decision-making abilities and later, your career."

"Love can do that too!" Kai, one of the students, uttered. She gave her a faint smile. The statement made her remember things that happened inside her office.

"Aga? Ano na namang ginagawa modito?" she just came from a hearing and is exhausted but she needs to come back to her office to study the papers for the case.

"Waiting for you." She rolled her eyes on him. "Nag-away kayo?" she asked and sat on her swivel chair..

"No. I just really want to see you." Aga started to massage her shoulder. She let herself feel how relaxing what he's doing and so she closed her eyes. This didn't last long as she felt Aga's hands tracing her neck down to her collarbone..

"Aga." She gave him a warning but he just won't stop. He even opened the first two button of her polo.

"Aga, stop it." She could hear him smirk. "I am helping you relax, babes."

"No, you're not. Minamanyak mo ako, Aga." He went in front of her and drew his face closer to hers. "Ako? Manyak?" she squinted her eyes instead and not moving a bit for if she does, their lips would meet.

"Kailan kita minanyak ha?" in one swift move, Aga made her sit on her wooden table slightly inclining her back onto it.

"Ags, someone might see." He didn't bother and started kissing her neck while lifting her skirt.

"Aga, anoba!" she allowed her voice to rise. He finally stopped. "I just missed you." She rolled her eyes on him. "I know that you know that if your wife knew, she'll kill us both. May CCTV's ditto."

She sighed and looked at his face. He looked tired but still is unwaveringly handsome. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled.

"I'm just being careful. You know that, right?"

He remained silent and is still is avoiding her gaze. She made him look at her. "I so love you, Ags. Remember that. I do that even if it is unethical, I am with you. I love you to the extent that I am breaking the law just to have you."

"Ms. Lea?" TJ's voice brought her back to her senses. "We'll go ahead. It was so nice spending the day with you."

"Oh, Sorry.. I just remembered something. You're going too? Akala ko, you and you're boyfriend would stay." TJ blushed but managed to nod. Lea's referring to another TJ who is already outside waiting for her.

"Before you go, let me get something for you." She gave TJ a little blue box. "I was in a hurry during your birthday that I forgot to give it to you."

TJ opened it and had her mouth opened for seconds. In so much awe, she ran to Lea and hugged her tight. "Oh," Lea chuckled. "Do you like it?"

"Oh my! Alam n'yo po bang idol kita? I always, always buy the newspaper when your column's out tapos you giving me this, is heaven!" Lea couldn't help but giggle. She took a deep breath and hugged the young lady tighter.

"Isuot ko sa'yo?" it was a necklace. She looks so beautiful wearing it and Lea can't stop from telling her, TJ felt kilig.

"This is the best part of the day. This is awesome! You are awesome! Thank you! I think I'd be fine if you're going to be my mom." TJ kissed Lea's cheek and bid her goodbye. Lea's smile won't go away.

That kid is just so adorable. But did I hear her right? Her smile faded.

"What did she just say?"
