Aga is in his office now preparing for his third meeting for the day and it's in 20 minutes.

Kung makapag-set ako ng meeting parang di ako sinabihan ni Lea na wag ma-late. He sighed.

"May wedding rehearsal pa." he whispered and tried to clear his mind and concentrate on his upcoming meeting but then his phone rang.

"Hon?"

"Yes, Lauren?" he gulped. Did I just call her just by her name? He mentally interrogated himself and his goddamn mind answered him. You always, always do that idiot. Why is it a big deal now?

"Hon, may problema kasi ako."

Problema. Huh! What could be her excuse now?

"Kasi, Ags. Hon may appointment kasi ako. Short noticed. Pictorial s'ya actually. Pwede bang i-adju—"

"No." he uttered firmly; his jaws clenched. "Can't you just make an excuse or what? Hindi ba pwedeng yan ang i-adjust mo? This is our wedding rehearsal just weeks before the wedding and yet –"

"Ags, importan—"

"More important than the wedding?!" he heard her sigh exasperatedly. He raked his hair with his hand out of frustration. Calm down, Aga.

"Be there or I'll cancel the wedding." She was about to say something when he hung up. He felt so pissed off. He looked at his phone and made a call.

"Hi." He greeted politely.

....

"I've made up my mind about what you proposed. Yeah, prepare the papers." He loosen his neck tie a bit and breathed out a large amount of air.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I'll make a way."

"Sir?" his secretary peeked at his slightly opened office door. He looked at her and dropped the call.

"Miss Lea left a message for you." She paused and smiled. "Two messages actually. She said be in the church on time or she'll drop all the wedding preparations and.." she hanged and gulped. "She'll kick your ass if you don't bring her food."

He chuckled and shook his head. "Sure. Reschedule all my meetings for today." The secretary nodded and left.

"You said I can't be late. Ikaw pala 'tong late." She rolled her eyes on him and took the food from his grip.

"That's coffee in there plus your chicken sandwich and your favorite French fries. Wala man lang bang pa-thank you?" she kept mum and ate. She didn't even bother asking him if he wants a share.

He watched her. Only because you're too beautiful.

"Why are you staring like that? Have you finally realized and thank God for a prayer answered?" he smirked and pinched her chin.

"You're cute when you're confident but not too confident, Lea."

"I'm cute, period. So where's the bride?"

"On her way." Lie. She stood and appreciated how big and fascinating the interior of Sto. Domingo church is.
