"How'd you know she isn't your daughter?" Lea asked and waited for Aga to answer. She has been dying to ask him this but she didn't want to get into Aga and Trent's way who were getting to know each other.

"I mean, she had proved it to you with the DNA test results after she gave birth right?" Aga looked at her with a smirk.

"You kept yourself up to date with what's happening to us even after you left." He just caught her red-handed and there's no way to denying it so she just rolled her eyes.

"So pa'no nga?" she asked again with a bit of irritation on her voice. Aga chuckled and pulled her closer.

"You're so cute." Then there's another rolling of her eyes. "Answer my question, you idiot." She uttered firmly and squint her eyes on him. He sighed.

"The first results were manufactured. I got the real ones just few weeks before the annulment arraignment."

She squinted her eyes once more and had the dots connected herself. So Aga knew Trixie isn't his so he confronted Lauren to which she admitted to this foolish acts and they decided to separate ways.

But being 'her' mind-reader that he is, he shook his head and explained before she did.

"No, that's not what happened." Lea looked at him, confused.

"Sabi n'ya ayaw n'ya na lang pahirapan ako at lalo ang sarili n'ya. That's why I don't understand why she is furious and did what she did to you whatever her reason may be. And also, "he sighed before continuing. "She didn't know the results were fabricated."

"And you believe her?!"

"Even the best lawyers like you would say she is innocent until proven guilty."

"But you don't know that!" she still can't absorb the fact that everything that Aga is talking about right now seem to be okay with him. She still can't believe that after he learned Lauren cheated on her, he just seem normal. Plus, she doesn't buy that it's-not-me-it's-someone-else sob story.

"I do." Aga looked at her straight to her eyes and sighed. "I hired an investigator to find and dig at all possible leads to whom did this and.."

"And he found out who?" He took another deep breath and looked away.

"Aga, talk to me."

"He's still gathering more information but he came out with a name.." another deep breath. Lea could feel her heartbeat racing. Why is she nervous?

"It was Rob."

Her world stopped. Why would Rob do that? Why would he want Aga be held responsible for something he did? She looked at him.

"You told me he took care of the case before I did, right?" Aga nodded. "Are you still connected with that investigator?"

"Ano pa bang ginagawa mo ditto? Hindi ka ba hinahanap ni Lea?"

"With everything that Aga is discovering at this moment, most probably she is. But not because she needs me or M.I.A. ako but because she is also being aware of everything and is probably ready to kill me."

"What do you mean?" Rob sighed and looked away. This gesture irritated Lauren. "Just tell me, damn it!"

"They've hired an investigator." Lauren had to swallow a lump building on her throat with what she just heard.

"And if they dig up more, they'll eventually come up to the fact that I am Trixie's biological dad."
