Beautiful nightmare

Her Fury

Aga came to their house at around 12 noon to see Trixie, his daughter. He's been tapping the doorbell for quite a while and he's losing his patience.

He dialed Trixie's number and she answered on the third ring.

"Hello, dad?"

"Open the door, sweetheart." He smiled as if his daughter could see. "Ay!" he heard her say.

"Di ka pa po pinagbubuksan ni mom? Baka naliligo. Wala ako sa bahay dad! Hehehe"

His forehead creased and his eyes squinted. "Didn't I tell you I'm coming over today? Bakit ka umalis?"

"You're coming up so I better get the party started?" she kidded pero.. "Okay waley. Sabi ko po kay mom tawagan na lang ako kapag nakarating ka na po eh. May practice kasi kami, dad."

"Eh mukhang wala namang tao ditto eh. Pati ata sina manang wala."

"Baka nag-grocery? Hehe Pabalik na din ako dad. Wait lang po."

For the nth time, Aga rang the doorbell. A guard who's doing rounds in their subdivision approached him. "Sir? Naku, wala pong tao d'yan. Nakita ko hong umalis si Ms. Lauren kanina. Tapos yung katulong n'yo naman ho, nag-grocery daw."

He smiled at the guard and thanked him for the information. He dialed Trixie's digits again. Gladly, she wa quick to answers. "May nabanggit ba yung mom mo na pupuntahan n'ya ngayon?"

"Wala po, dad. Ang alam kop o she plans to stay home kasi daw next week sunod-sunod ang gagawin n'ya."

"Hold-on. Someone's calling." He immediately put his conversation with TJ on hold and took the other call. "Hello? Sino 'to?" he heard someone screaming."Lea?"

It was noisy on the background that all he can hear are Lea's screams and pleads for someone to stop.

"Lea? Bakit ka sumi—Lauren?" now he could hear Lauren shouting, cursing.

"Anong nangyayari?! Damn it!" he rushed to his car and started the engine. Whatever is happening, he is sure as hell it isn't good.

"Lauren calm down. Let's talk. Ano bang nangyayari sa'yo?" Lea just got out from a hearing. She was told that Lauren is waiting for her inside her office.

She thought Lauren's just around to visit her or talk about some things but she was wrong as she was welcomed by a crisp slap from Lauren as soon as she entered her own office.

"Anong nangyayari sa akin?" Lauren smirked and tried to free herself from a security personnel's grip. "Let go of me!" she screamed and was finally freed as Lea signaled for them to let her. She told the security personnel to leave as well as her secretary. They were at first hesitant but they have no choice but to oblige.

"Ang kapal ng mukha mo." Lauren looked at her intently. She could sense her anger. The way Lauren look her, the way her eyes pierce at Lea, it's frightening but she couldn't comprehend why.

"Pinlano mo 'to lahat?" She shook her head not knowing what to say. Lauren slowly walked towards her. "Magsalita ka, Lea. Is this all your plan?"

"Hindi ko alam ku—"

She wasn't even finished when Lauren pulled her hair and pushed her on the floor. "Sinungaling! Hindi mo alam? Now I know why you wanted to be civil, you wanted to be friends with me. Masaya ba?! Masaya bang panoriin kaming nahuhulog sa patibong mo?"

Lea tried to stand as she was saying, "Lauren hindi ko ta—"another slap landed on her beautiful face. She was just on the carpeted floor looking at Lauren, clueless of what and where her anger is coming from.

"Gaano ka-satisfying paglaruan ang buhay naming, Lea?" Lauren held her hair and pulled her up. "Gaano kasayang makita na napapaikot mo kami?"

Lea could feel the pain as Lauren's grip on her hair tightened. She held her hand. "Lauren nasasaktan na ako." she fought her tears that are almost welling. She was pushed down again and her face almost met the floor. Her hand twisted and Lea winced in pain.

"Lauren t-tama na." she stuttered as her hand began to ache badly. Lauren doesn't seem to care at all that she pulled Lea through her hair again. "Bakit? Nung pinaglalaruan mo kaming lahat, naawa ka ba? Tumigil ka ba? Di ba hindi!" Lea received another slap and another and another until she fell on the floor.

"Hindi ko alam kung anong sinasabi mo!" she shouted trying to sound as brave as she could while wiping the blood on the side of her lips that she got due to the intense slaps she receive. (Imagine how strong Angel Locsin's slaps are.)

"Tama na, Lauren. I d-don't know what you are talking about." She pleaded as she tried to crawl to the nearest thing she can hold for support. But this just made Lauren fury even more, if there's even one.

She held Lea through her hair again and pushed her towards her drawer where plaques, certifications, other recognitions and picture frames were placed on top of it. Some of these fell and broke which gave Lea bruises and scratches on her legs and her hands as she also fell on the floor.

But this didn't stop Lauren. She held Lea through her dress that it tore apart. She then slapped Lea countless times that she lost her balance and her hands met the scattered glasses on the ground. Lauren held her hair was about to push her head down to ruin her gorgeous face when the door opened.

"Lauren!" Aga rushed to where they are and took Lauren's grip out of Lea's hair. "Nababaliw ka na ba?! Ano bang nangyayari sayo?!"

"S'ya! S'ya yung problema ko!" Lauren shouted, pointing her finger at Lea who, in Aga's arms could do nothing but cry. This is pure torture and she doesn't even have a single idea why this happened.

"Akala ko pa naman mapagkakatiwalaan kita. I thought you were an angel but you are not. I thought you were a sweet dream turned to reality but I was wrong. Pasalamat ka di ko nasira yang mukha mo. Maganda ka nga."

Lauren took a deep breath and looked at the both of them. Aga, comforting Lea, and Lea crying the pain she was feeling out.

"You are so beautiful that it aches. You're a beautiful nightmare."
