AFTER 15 YEARS

Nilapag ko ang mga bulaklak sa Puntod nito at sinindihan ko ang mga Kandila.

"Tignan mo nga naman at binibisita na naman kita." Napangiti ako at hinawakan ang lapida niya

"Huwag kang magagalit sakin dahil hindi ako nakakabisita sayo ng madalas. Nakakapagod kayang pumunta dito. Traffic pa." Sabi ko naman. Nagulat ako nang biglang lumakas ang ihip ng hangin

"Nambwibwisit ka ba?" Natatawang saad ko "Well it's very effective." I said.

"The justice that we have been fighting for years. We got it. But it felt like I lost the battle." Nagbuntong hininga ako at sinubukang pigilan ang mga luha ko

"Why do I feel like you are so regretful in taking care of me." Napalingon ako sa boses na narinig ko.

I turned around only to see my Ford who is dressed up today. "Hindi mo ako hinintay." Sabi naman nito nang makalapit ito sa akin

"I needed a few seconds alone." I said

"I thought I was late. I cancelled all of my meetings today. You can spend more time with me, Dad." Sabi naman nito at lumapit sa puntod at inilapag ang bulaklak na dala nito

"Look at you. Perfect Business man." Tinignan ko siya mula ulo hanggang paa. Natawa na lang ito sa sinabi ko

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Napatingin ako sa mga ulap. Bigla kasing kumulimlim mukhang uulan na "I'm Fine...I am Fine..."

"Above all the things that you loved about her, What do you love the most?" Napatingin kami sa Pamilyar na sasakyan na kararating lang.

"She's really imperfect.. She's a terrible liar. She doesn't ask help even if she needs it. She messed up in so many things. She doesn't really look like a girl. She looks more of a tomboy. She's not really into cleaning her room nor his junk food plastic. God she's a piece of mess..." Napahalakhak kami pareho ni Ford "I asked what do you love the most about her. Not the Negative ones." He said

"I love everything about her.." Napatingala ako. "That's deep." Saad naman nito.

"When you love someone, You could see everything even the darkness of their personality. And you will also love that part about them. " I sighed "Why do you believe like that?" He asked. "Because loving someone is embracing everything about them even their Darkness side."

"She did that." I said.

"That is why you loved her so much.." He nodded.

"Hey!" Napalingon kami nang marinig namin ang boses ni Rowin.

"Ceremony is about to start" sabi naman nito at sinenyasan niya kami na pumunta na roon.

"Where is Fatima?" I asked Ford but he just sighed. "Mukhang wala siyang balak pumunta. She never came right?"

"Maybe today is different." I walked pass through him. Sinalubong ko ang pamilyar na babaeng naka jacket ng red at blonde ang buhok.

"Did I came to the wrong place?" She said when I got closer to where she is.

"Nope. You look good. Your Dad must be so proud." Hindi siya umimik at ngumiti lang. Hinayaan ko siyang naglakad palapit sa puntod ni Nate.

Today is Nate's 15th Death Aniversarry. We always celebrate it every year. Itinabi namin ang puntod ni Nate sa puntod ni chief.
