"Would you just leave be," Alice growled at her younger brothers.

Madison had to say she much preferred Isaiah and Ezra when they were playing soccer in the field to when they were inside. Like younger brothers they seemed to love to annoy their older siblings. She had to admit that before her dad died she annoyed Andrew quite often.

"No thanks, it's fun to annoy you two," Isaiah grinned.

"We need to make our lunches and you guys are in the way," Alice stated.

"Let them be," Adam ordered.

"But Adam that isn't any fun!" Ezra complained.

"Too bad, I'll tell dad that you stayed up later than you're supposed to," Adam threatened.

"Oh please don't," Isaiah pleaded.

"Let the girls be then, anyways you should be making your lunches," Adam smiled.

"Thanks Adam," Madison laughed.

"Your welcome," he nodded.

"Hey, want a muffin in your lunch?" Alice asked Madison.

"What kind?" Madison questioned.

"Blueberry," Alice stated.

"Sure," Madison took the muffin handed to her.

"I'm going to speak to Madison for a second Alice," Mr. Jackson stated before they went to the living room.

"What did you find out?" Madison asked.

"Maybe I wasn't looking in the right places, but I didn't really find anything more" he shook his head with disappointment.

"Oh," was all Madison could manage to say, she had had high hopes.

"I believe you'll find out something, maybe my mind's just getting old," he tried to look hopeful.

"Well, thank you for trying," Madison whispered.

"Stay safe," he stated as she went to finish her lunch.

It took a lot to not laugh at that. How could she be safe, she was always in danger? It was the kind of laugh that is more of a scoff because it's not actually funny. Actually those two words could be described as sad. Stay safe, yeah, right.

After finishing making their lunches the two talked for a bit. At eight thirty five they got on the bus to what Madison classified as prison. An especially bad prison, she didn't get on well with most of the other inmates and the grownups thought she was crazy or pitied her. Alice on the other hand loved school much to Madison's confusion.

Madison and Andrew didn't ride the bus, they always walked. Alice though was a couple blocks further and preferred the bus. Even at that distance Madison would walk, the bus ride wasn't something Madison enjoyed. It was loud and stuffy, that was negative, but also in a way positive. See Noir wasn't fond of the combination either. Then again he didn't bother her walking either, he wasn't really a morning.... monster?

Madison got off the bus last as always. Quite a few kids were hanging around the front of the middle school, Andrew was among them. When Andrew saw her he quickly rushed over. She was worried he'd be mad that she had just left last night. What worse his anger over her choice or his worry over the cut?

"Madison!" He exclaimed.

"That is my name," Madison muttered.

"What's up with your face?" He asked immediately.
