"My name is Dr. Fox but you can call me Ivan if you rather that," he introduced himself as he sat down on his very comfortable looking chair. Madison didn't say anything as she tried to avoid eye contact.

"I doubt you're happy to be here, but it could be good for you," he hadn't given up yet.

"I disagree," Madison whispered just loud enough that he would here.

"Well then we'll just have to see then, won't we?" he nodded.

"Well I'm going to explain what is going to happen. For the next fifty minutes I'm going to just ask questions and I'd like you to answer as best you can," he explained.

"Fine," Madison murmured.

"Madison I assume you know why you're here?" he questioned.

"Mum doesn't believe me," she stated.

"Okay, well, let's talk about your emotions and life now," he suggested.

"So your mum told me you see two main creatures," he informed her.

"Prince Noir and Grundwasser," she stated.

"Prince Noir is the one you say causes all the trouble and Grundwasser is your friend?" she nodded as he spoke his question.

"Can you tell me about them?" he asked.

"Prince Noir is evil. He likes me to be in pain or cry; sometimes he tries to kill me. Grundwasser is friendly. He likes to spend time with me and talk," she explained.

"Let's talk about your family, what relationship do you have with them?" he questioned.

"I'm very close friends with my brother, maybe best friends. My mum and I normally get on well, as long as I've not done anything because Prince Noir recently. I'm pretty close with my uncle Thomas too," she stated.

"You don't have to answer but how are you feeling in regards to what happened to your dad?" he asked.

She immediately looked down. In all honesty she was devastated. Not strange considering he had died one year earlier in a 'car accident'. True it was actually a car accident but Prince Noir had purposely caused it. It was stated that a driver simply wasn't paying attention. Madison tended to stay quiet about that though as her mum was beyond mad when she said such things.

"I'd rather not talk about that," Madison whispered.

"That's alright, care to talk about school?" she shrugged in response to his question.

"I hear you got mostly A's. What's your favourite subject?" he asked her.

"Math," she mumbled.

"I wasn't very good at math in school. What's your least favourite subject?" he questioned.

"Music class," she hesitated before finally speaking.

"Are you not fond of music?" he asked.

"Music is my favourite thing, but Noir embarrasses me a lot in that class," she muttered.

"What do you play?" he seemed genuinely interested.

"Guitar. I'm sure you heard about last night," she whispered.

"Oh, so it was your guitar," he realized.

"Yeah, it still sort of works, when Uncle Thomas visits he'll probably fix it," she stated.

"Might I ask about you covering your ears when you came in?" he questioned her.

"Prince Noir seemed to not be able to come in, he got mad, and he shouted really loud at me," she explained.

"Some of the people I talk to say their monsters can't come in. We have decided it's probably because this building was once a church, so as I say, evil thoughts have trouble entering," he told her.

"Noir is more than a thought," she argued.

"Do you have dreams or nightmares Madison?" he asked.

"Yeah I have nightmares," she replied.

"Can you tell me a little bit about them?" he continued.

"Noir trying to kill me," she whispered.

The questions went on and on for what seemed like forever. Eventually Madison even put her guard down a little. She was starting to become a little comfortable. When the fifty minutes had finally passed it came as a shock to her. Madison had to admit it was nice to talk to someone.

"Normally I'd only talk to you once a week. However your mum is very worried, most likely because of the road incident as well as Carson and Amelia. Therefore she made it very clear she wanted multiple shorter appointments a week. We decide on Saturday morning and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Though after a few weeks we'll probably change it to what is more common. On Tuesday I should have a medication for you that should help. I'll see you Tuesday Madison," he explained to her as he stood up.

A/N: During this chapter I was twice visited by a too friendly spider. He climbed on my foot and hand. Now I'm rather afraid of spiders. So twice during this chapter I had a problem with normal breathing. I doubt my terror affected the chapter.

If you are having a bad day blame the too friendly spider.

Let's call him Todd. Blame Todd. I sure hope he's friendly...
