"I don't remember the well being so far out. Madison are you listening to me?" Andrew stepped over a large root.
"Yes I'm listening. I bet I know the distance better than you, you haven't been this way for months," stated Madison.
"True, are we almost there?" Andrew asked.
"Just about," Madison whispered in a worried tone. She was quite worried Grundwasser wouldn't show. See he's not very trusting and he hardly trusted her. Due to her worrying Andrew doubted her, he didn't see why she should worry if she was right. As a friend and brother he'd give her a chance despite his doubt.
"I see the well," Andrew declared.
"I'd worry about your eyesight if you didn't," Madison mumbled like a good little sister.
"Okay so where is he?" he asked.
"Be patient would you," Madison ordered.
"Fine," he murmured.
"Grundwasser please come out," Madison called out to her octopus like friend.
Nothing. Madison's hope was dwindling, though there was still enough hope to add wood and get it going again. There'd be no wood today though as nothing was going to bring back her hope, the Grundwasser wasn't going to show. Madison knew that Andrew had jumped off the fence, and it wasn't onto her side; he wasn't on the fence anymore.
The Grundwasser was shocked by what Madison had done. She hadn't even asked beforehand if he'd like to show himself to her brother. If she had she'd have known that he wasn't going to meet any new people. Other than Madison Grundwasser didn't like people, might be why he hid in a well out of sight. He had to admit he was quite unhappy with Madison. By not showing he felt guilty for upsetting her, but he was upset she put him into the situation to begin with. It was true he'd forgive her but that didn't mean he'd forget.
"Madison let's go home," Andrew grabbed her arm to which she pulled away.
"Andrew you've got to believe me. He just, he doesn't like people, I shouldn't have thought he'd show himself, but you have to believe me," Madison rambled.
"Madison you're mad. I'm sorry but it's true. We should be heading home," Andrew grabbed her arm again; she pulled away but followed him anyways.
Madison was beyond hurt by what he said. Yes she knew it wasn't true but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt. Madison was mad, but a different kind, she was mad at him. How could her brother whom she loved say she was mad?
Madison came up with a better question. Why did she have to deal with this? Why did Noir want to cause her specifically harm? Why could only she see such creatures? Why? All good questions, to none she knew the answer.
Why didn't her peers like her? Maybe it was because her difference scared them. Why did Andrew hop off the fence so quick? Perhaps he was scared she was right. Why did Grundwasser not show? Likely because he was afraid of what humans could do. Madison was seeing a theme. Fear seemed to be why she was disliked, believed crazy, and abandoned. Fear seemed to be almost as bad as Noir for her life, and it didn't even have to be her own.
Quietly she followed her brother home. Would Andrew tell their mum, she sure hoped not. She watched him walk; he was walking with a slight limp. Was he injured, how'd that have happened. Well at least she wouldn't be the focus tonight, Madison felt bad for thinking that. Perhaps she should...
"Andrew what's wrong with your leg?" Madison questioned.
"Nothing," he turned to look at her.
"You're limping," Madison argued.
"Don't tell mum," Andrew ordered.
"Okay," she said only slightly honestly.
"I had a pretty bad fall in track, it's just sprained," explained Andrew.
"Of course it's track, it's always track," she shook her head.
"Well I am the track champion at our school," he laughed.
"Well yeah you're really fast," she chuckled.
"Faster than you," he started running home; Madison laughed as she started to run as well.
The earlier event was forgotten as the two ran and laughed. Perhaps it was still somewhere in both of their minds but it wasn't being thought about. Both were happy for the time being despite all that had happened and all that likely would. Madison was rather fast as well and with Andrew having a sprained leg she was winning. Madison was winning. She always seemed to have drawn the short straw when it came to life but she was still winning the race. Their porch was the finish line and she was nearing it, Andrew close behind. She stopped herself by grabbing the railing with both hands. Within a second or two Andrew also was touching the porch, she had won. Suddenly she saw Noir in the garden across the street. Could Madison ever win?
So the bold at the bottom is interesting. So again I'll mention italics are me not italics are part of the story. So you need to read the top bold at the bottom at least.
I will at some point soon be adding a new character , she'll be quite brainy, good friends with Andrew and I imagine her Latino. Yeah I don't know to much about her yet. To get the readers involved I'm asking for names in the comments. I will then do a vote among my close friends and family to decide on a name. Remember votes mean multiple options. So if I get one commented name, well I guess we just go with it.... lol...
A/N: Todd is done camping in front of the closet door. Now he's camping in the living room, he likes Disney movies. Right now he's cheering on Scar, well he's going to be upset... I'm quite convinced he's working for Noir, which is a really bad sign. I'm just a writer what could I do. If only Madison..... I wouldn't be able to find her. I'll have to manage on my own. He can't.... it's not possible. If he's found a way, angel help me. I'm going to move into the shed, Todd doesn't like the outdoors. That way I can write whenever, and I'll be safer. I'm so scared. If Noir... Everything will be fine.... I wish saying it made it true.

Okay so I'm back home. I have started school. So everyday, or almost everyday I'll be writing in the morning for two and a half hours if I haven't finished a chapter in the morning I'll continue it after my school day is done. I will have a chapter at least a few times a week. Stella Rose's story is getting interesting. So again I'll mention italics are me not italics are part of the story. Stella Rose, or SR is a character I've created who will end up with her own story. Yes I know this chapter is short I only have fifteen more minutes till school. This book is almost a third done, once it's done we'll have a sequel which will be Stella Rose's story , that's why it's important you read the bold.
