Elise watched from behind a large oak tree, the King conversing with an older dark haired man. She hadn't meant to be prying into their conversation but she'd heard her name and her curiosity spiked tenfold.

The two men gave each other a manly hug before the man Elise just met left Vincent behind. A few ssconds later, she felt a soft clod brush on her thighs and spun around. Vincent stood in front of her looking unashamedly handsome with his head cocked to the side.

"Anyone ever told you its rude to ears drop?" He regarded Elise with a heated gaze she felt crawl up and down her spine seductively.

"Anyone ever told you its rude to talk about someone behind their back?" She snapped back. Vincent laughed and Elise wondered where the joke was.

"Its not rude if it was said in front of you. So what did you hear?"

That was the thing, she hadn't heard what the sneaky men were talking about once she crept closer. Instead of answering, she gave a hard look at Vincent who still had a stupid smile on his face, and walked away.
Elise made her way into the mansion and cautiously opened the door to Vincents office. You would think a man who'd Increased his so called security would lock his door.

The last time she was in Vincent's office, she had been angry both times and now she was stealing but it gave her the chance to admire the decore. She couldn't deny the man had taste.

She had carefully rumaged through his office constantly placing back everything she'd touch when she heard feet shuffling and voices outside. She ducked and hid under Vincent's desk. It was a male and a female she recignised to he Blake.

"you've been avoiding me." The male stranger said.

"Cut to the bullshit. Why are you here?" Blake growled.

"Things are moving faster than expected."

The voices stopped and she heard more movement. Once she felt they were far enough away from the office, Elise gripped her dress and manouvered her way out from the table, knocking her head in the process. She heard a soft thud onto the lush black carpet.

Elise picked up the silver keys from the ground, rotating it in her hand. That was just too easy, she thought.

It wasn't exactly easy finding a room you found by accident in the first place. The familiar white corridor appeared and the mahogany door stood between Elise and Vincent's secret. The white theme from the walls behind the doors followed into the room. The portraits of different women and three books were the only colour contrast to the white washed room.

Elise traced the soft jaw line of a brunette and peered down at the plaque beneath it that read Noelle Antoinette Dubois. Why would Vincent have a picture Alex's late wife. She walked through the portraits before Noelle. Mallorie who had the same snow like hair she'd seen only on the Dimitris, Lenora, Jade, Aleron, more names Elise couldn't even pronounce until she reached the final portrait. Valerie, Lucia Monet.

The woman before her had an unearthly beauty about her then again she was the daughter of a witch. She stepped back as realization smacked her hard in the face. She was looking at Vincent's museum of Valerie's reincarnations. It seemed far fetched and yet nothin was impossible with a world eruption with paranormal activity.

She ran her hands through the only three books and picked out an album. Someone would be looking for her. With that in mind, she locked the room and returned the key promising to go back to the room when she could. Walking out of Vincent's office, she bumped into something hard and looked up to see a hooded stranger. From the shadows, his vibrant green eyes shone but he turned away and disappeared down the corridor.
