Elise had remained in her room while everyone else had gathered in the garden for Laurent's punishment.
Vincent had divorced Laurent from his title at the crowd before him. He had stood firm and bold at the back of Laurent who was bound Expertly by James and lulled his head back before him. Before Laurent had been dragged out he'd been blood poisoned to release his fangs from under the gums.
He looked up at Victoria and broke the second in command's fangs ripping into his gums. He couldn't even hear the screams of agony that came from Laurent who shivered and convulsed on the ground before him. But Elise could and she covered her ears but it did so little.
"Laurent vaille of the Irish district. You are Hereby stripped Of your position as Madam Victoria Halissey's second. You may never gain a title with such weight again."
Vincent sank his fangs into Laurent's neck releasing a venom only he possessed that reduced a vampire to a more human state to reduce the healing process.
"It is done."
The crowd slowly parted not sparing the vampire another glance. Now that Laurent was practically human, for most of the vampires and district leaders, he held no value in their mind and wasn't worth their time.
Victoria walked towards Laurent calling for one of her coven leaders to help carry the male to his room. The Irish District Leader was seething as she was forced to watch a member of her coven become a laughing stock in front of all the other district leaders. Meredith had stayed by her side rubbing Victoria's back as Victoria confessed Laurent's position as not just her second in command bit her secret lover. It wasn't against the rules per say but the two women knew that a secret as such was better kept between trusted individuals or Victoria's position as coven leader would be compromised.
By the end if the night, Meredith had comforted Victoria more than a friend would. She went from rubbing Victoria's back to lightly brushing the Irish woman's pink lips. They locked eyes before sharing a slow sensuous kiss. Consumed with anger and upset, Victoria sank deeper into the kiss, gliding her hand up to the heavy mounds concealed by too much clothing and squeezed. Meredith knew all too well that Victoria wasn't in the right frame of mind but took the opportunity to bed the female as she'd imagined countlessly. They both moaned through the night exploring each other bodies and woke up like lovers in each others arms.
The moment for both was ruined with the reminder Laurent's punishment and didn't rush, comforting each other, their bodies slick and wet from their ongoing activities. After, they both cried in each other's arms. Vampires never expressed this kind of emotion but at this moment, the girls needed release even if it was behind closed doors.
Eleanor didn't bother to watch the events that led from yesterday, she wasn't one for the theatrics the young vampires were all into. Instead she decided to watch Blake. She found the girl to be quite intriguing and watched her reaction to the defanging. Blake watched with cold eyes perhaps even satisfaction. Eleanor knew the girl didn't quite like Elise and deducted that it wasn't the fact Laurent was being punished for breaking the rules but the idea of pain, anger and such along those lines settled Blake and Blake enjoyed it. Eleanor found herself contemplating the life Blake must have to enjoy sadistic games and show of power. Blake turned to meet Eleanor's Eyes, both began thinking back to Blake's trial.
Eleanor shamedly admit Blake had been an element of surprise when Neither of Eleanors tactics were working on the femme. Eleanor had seen darkness in the blond's eyes while she fought effortless against Eleanor's ongoing attacks.
She remembered Blake's claw like nails digging into her neck while Blake looked at her childish form with excitement and no fear made apparent and licked her face.
