"Oh I'm sorry, the name's Jada."

I gave her the books she dropped.

"Nice to meet you. You're new right?" I asked.

" Well, not really. I use to go here my freshman year but left and now I'm back."

" Oh, that's good. Hopefully we will get to know each other. Anyway it's really nice to meet you but I have to run. See you around." I told her as I waved to her and her friend.

I fast walked to the field where everyone was. By the door to the gym Trey was standing there.

"Hey baby, waiting for someone?" I asked as I put my arms around his neck and kissed his lips.

"Oh, not anymore."

He pulled me closer to him as the kiss got deeper.

"Okay baby, now you know we gotta stop." I told him as I pushed him back.

"But I missed you so much!!! Don't punish me like this. I need a little inspiration to go out there." He said trying to kiss me.

"No babe, we have to stop. You know how you get. But listen, we can continue this later depending on how good you do today. Got it?" I smirked at him.

"Don't do that to me girl. Little man down there started jumping and shit." He said as he kissed my cheek.

"I love you too now get in there and make me proud." I gave him a little peak and he walked into the gym.

I made my way to my friends in the bleachers and soon the rally started.

The dance team walked out and behind them were the cheerleaders. They all started their routines as everyone in the stands cheered along just enjoying themselves. The school's mascot, the black panther, came out and started doing his thang! The football coach grabbed the mic as he started clapping and smiling.

"Yea, give it up for our amazing students bringing the prep and excitement for our school."

Everyone started clapping in unison and cheering louder.

"Yes! Now let's quiet things down a little bit and get serious."

Everyone stopped cheering and listened attentively.

"Now, tonight is our most important game because it is the first game of the season. This game will define our season and how things will go. This game will set the sights and show everyone what we are about. Last season we did an amazing job but I am very confident that this season we will go further. A week before school started, they came in ready to get to work and work like they never have before. So let's please give it up for our Quenton High's football players!"

The boys came running out onto the field as the crowd went wild. There were about thirty or so boys that ran out on the field and in the front was my baby wearing the number six, which is my favorite number.

"On this team we have fifteen seniors, ten juniors, eleven sophomores, and nine freshmen and they all have one goal in common and that is to prove to us, to our opponents that we are ready and we will win. They've worked extremely hard in these passed few months despite the million other things they have on their plates. Now I will turn the mic over to your captains."

Alex and Trey walked up to the mic.

"Aye, y'all ready?!" Alex yelled.

"YES!" The crowd yelled in response.

"I said ARE Y'ALL READY!?!" He yelled even louder.

"YES!"

"Okay good because are we too. Like our amazing coach said, we've been working very hard getting ready and getting focused. Trey and I are both seniors and like others on the team we also participate in other sports teams on campus like soccer, basketball, track, and swimming. Besides sports, we are also members of various clubs on campus, some honor course and we also have to maintain our social lives because well...we're teens. But that did not stop us, it didn't stop none of us." Alex said then gave the mic to Trey.
