After school was track tryouts. YASSSS! Now these niggas can see what I'm really made of. None of them have seen Alex or myself run, so this will be interesting.

The last bell rang and I ran straight to my locker. I'm so excited for this. I opened my locker and pulled my sports bag out that had my sweats in it.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Khris asked as she opened her locker a few down from mine.

"Oh, track tryouts." I told her as I closed my locker.

"Wait, you're not going to tryout for cheerleading with me?"

"Cheerleading? That's like a mouth away but oh no. Not my scene. I rather do the sports then cheer about them."

She had the most serious face. "Cheerleading is a sport."

I laughed hard af at the tone of her voice. "Okay Khris, if you say so but I'll catch up with you later."

She gave me a quick hug and we parted ways. As I started walking down the hall to the outside locker rooms, I heard some weird voices.

"He thinks I just wanna talk but I'm going to get him back." Some latino girl said.

"But he has a girlfriend, how are you going to do that Jada?" A white girl asked.

"I don't know yet but it won't be pretty." Jada responded.

I just kept walking, I don't wanna hear about some girl taking someone else's boyfriend. That's wrong.

*JOSLYN'S POV*

"But Joel...what am I suppose to do while you practice?" I asked him.

"I don't know baby, sit and watch...?" He responded.

"You suck."

"You swallow." He laughed like it was the funniest thing ever.

"Shut the fuck up." I said which made him laugh more.

"Go do some warm ups or something, damn."

He kissed me on my forehead. "Awww, it's okay babe." Then he ran off to the track where some of the guys and Alex were.

I didn't know Alex ran. And let me tell you, he looks real good in them shorts as well. Damn, if Dria wasn't my friend and I were single...

"Joslyn, why are you here? You run too?" Dria asked.

She had on some sport short and a wife beater.

"No, I'm here because Joel's on the team. Why are you here?"

"I'm trying out."

"I didn't know you ran."

"Yea, Alex and I've been running since we were kids. We arrived here too late for tryouts last year."

"Oh okay. That's nice, well I guess I'll just sit here and watch y'all do y'all thing." I said smiling.

I wonder how fast they are. Joel's African, so he's super fast. We'll see.

*Alex's POV*

Once everyone was crowded around the finish line, the coach started to talk about the team and what we should expect and what not. I'm so damn excited to just start racing. Let's go!

"Okay, now all the newcomers go to the starting line." He looked at his clipboard. "Looks like we have 12 new people. When I call your name, you run first."

He called 6 names including mine and Dria's. The other four names are freshmen so this will be interesting.

We lined up. Dria on the right, me on the left and everyone else in the middle.

"Okay, ready!" The coach shouted and then he shot the gun.

We took off running.

I got super excited as I was writing this chapter. But Sage the Gemini has a new song out featuring Trey. Check that out as well. Picture in the media box. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.

Also, download Trey's new mixtape that just came out today. It's called Intermission. You can download it on Spinrilla or DatPiff. Since the songs are also on Youtube, you can download it from there or any other downloading site, I guess.

One of the songs called Good Girls vs. Bad Girls samples Jacquees's Come Thru off of his album "19". That's just a interesting fact if you didn't know already haah. Have a great day.
