Still Adjusting (New Adjustments part 2)

"Wake up!" Jos screamed.

I groaned as I buried my head underneath my pillow.

"No, wake up! We have a college to tour and college dudes to explore. Get up!"

She said the last part as she grabbed my pillow and hit me with it.

"Man! I'm up...gosh. When's breakfast starting?"

She looked at her schedule that was on her night stand then at the clock. "In 20 minutes then we have to meet up with everyone after, so you might wanna get ready now."

I went into the bathroom and did my hygiene routine. I then put my hair up in a high ponytail and put on eyeliner and mascara. I slipped on some light blue skinnies and a white cami. Then I put on some white low top converse and throw on my tan sweater.

I walked back into the room as Jos was brushing her hair in a low bun. She had on some black skinnies, a maroon sweater and some light brown ankle boots.

"Have you talked to Khris?" I asked her.

"Yea, she texted me this morning saying she wish she came with us because the boys are driving her crazy."

I laughed. "I bet. All the 'special' boys went on that trip."

Jos laughed. "I know. All the senior varsity basketball and football players went on that trip. Thank you Jesus they didn't come on this one. I would've died."

"Ooo, that would've been a terrible trip."

I looked at the clock and it was ten past eight which means breakfast is starting and we need to leave.

"It's time." I told Jos as I grabbed my bag and my phone.

She grabbed her things as well and we both walked out and over to the cafeteria. It was like all the way across campus.

When we walked in, we showed our badges to the cashier and walked right on through.

Once we got our food, we looked for a table and found one with Que and a couple of other boys from our school. We sat down and started eating.

"No, Curry's shoots be on 10. Lebron ain't that good bro. Everyone knows that!" Que said to Kenny.

Oh gosh, here they go with sports.

"Okay everyone, finish up and let's get ready to go. This is Brian and Tina. They're going to show us around campus today." Mr. Neverson said as he introduced the two college students beside him.

"Hello everyone, I hope you're ready because we have a lot of ground to cover. You'll love it here, I promise." The girl, Tina, said to us.

"Well if all the dudes look like him, we'll have hella fun..." Jos responded.

The dude smirked and acted like he didn't hear that. Tina looked at him and smiled.

"Damn! All of the dudes I've seen are beyond sexy! I think I might come to college here."

"Oh shut up. What about Joel? You gone drag him up here too? Just so you can look at some other dudes? You're terrible." I told her.

"Whatever. He'll like it too."

I rolled my eyes. We've been walking around this big ass campus for 3 hours. I'm so ready to eat right now. These snacks aren't keeping me satisfied.

"Okay everyone, this is our last stop then we head back to the cafe for lunch." Brain said.

"Shit, I'll have you for lunch." Jos stated underneath her breath.

"I hate you so much in life." I said as we walked up to the theatre building.

My phone started ringing so I answered it before the ringer got louder.

It was Trey.

"Hey babe, what's up?"

"Hello beautiful, I miss you so much. Come hug me." He said in a sad voice.

"I wish I could. I miss you too!"

"You better. Remember you're coming home to me, so be careful out there. I saw a picture of you on snapchat last night at the club with Que. How was it?"

"It was fine. Issa was performing so I had to come through. But it would've been much better if you were there." I told him.

"Ooo, when I see you imma-"

He was cut off by Mr. Neverson taking my phone. He put his ear to my phone and was about to say something but continued listening to what Trey was saying.

"Well that's very...interesting but she has things to do. Good bye Tremaine." He said then hung up.

"Next time it'll be mine. No calls while we're in class." He said as he handed me my phone.

I embarrassingly smile and he walked back to the front.

"Damn, Trey's going to have a cow dude! Wait, we're not in class."

I looked at her like she was crazy. Who tf says "have a cow" any way?

"Whaaaaat? Just send him a nude or two. He'll be fine."

"I swear, we are no longer friends." I said to her as we continued walking.
