"Okay class, that all the time we have today. Enjoy winter break and I'll see you all next year."

Finally! Half of senior year is over! Thank you Jesus! Now I get to rest and relax.

I felt hands wrap around me and I turned my head to see Trey talking to Antwon, another basketball player who is also in choir.

"Can I help you sir?" I asked as I grabbed my bag.

"Okay, I'll see you at the party tonight." Antwon said and then walked out of the room.

"Yes, you can be my date to the party." He smirked at me,

Shit! I will not survive if he keeps doing that.

I rolled my eyes, trying to compose myself.

"You asked my last night babe."

He let go of me and I turned around to face him.

"Yea and you never gave me an answer. So I'm asking again."

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course I'll go with you idiot!"

He laughed and kiss my cheek.

"Okay baby, I'll pick you up at six. Is Alex taking you home?"

"Yea, we car pooled this morning with Que." I looked at my watch. "They should be at the car now."

"Okay, I'll walk you out. Do you need anything from your locker?" He slung his bag on his back and grabbed my hand.

"Yea, I gotta get a few things."

We walked to my locker. I grabbed some of my notes books and put my backpack in there. I won't need that until next year. I grabbed my choir folder with all the sheet music in it because we have some new songs to learn. Might as well get a head start.

Once I got everything I needed, I closed my locker and we walked out to the parking lot. Alex and Que were talking to a few of the other athletes by the car.

"I'll see you tonight." I stood on my tippy toes and kissed Trey's cheek.

"Okay baby, I'll text you when I'm on the way."

"Y'all going to the party too? It's bad enough I have to babysit this nigga, now I gotta babysit y'all too?" Alex asked as he pointed to Que. He's so dramatic.

Que was wrapped up in some girl's arms and playfully shoved Alex then continued his conversation. I've seen her around school, I believe she's on the cheerleading squad.

"Whatever, just behave y'all self. I'm trying to enjoy my time."

I rolled my eyes. In other words, get drunk and mess around with as many girls as he can. Issa, Que and Alex used to have this competition back in Atlanta to see who could get the most girls. Surprisingly Alex would win every time.

"Iight I'll catch y'all later." He dapped the guys and then kissed my cheek. "I'll text you later baby."

I hugged him and then he walked to his car.

I looked around. "Soooo are we gonna go or are y'all waiting for someone?" I asked.

Alex dapped the guys that were standing around and Que untangled himself from ol girl and the said their goodbyes as I climb in the backset.

We pulled into the driveway and my moms care was there.

She should be going into labor soon. I can't wait to meet our baby sister.

My mom turned the other guest room into a nursery. Donell hasn't contacted her or anything. I don't even think he told his wife about what the baby. He's a coward and a selfish asshole who will never grow up. I hope his marriage fails. I hope he receives all the bad karma he deserves for doing this to my momma again.

"Hey babies, how was your last day? Better yet what are y'all plans for tonight? Big party huh?" She asked as we all walked into the house.

Alex signed and walked into the kitchen.

"Yup, and we are about to get lit!" Que said as he followed Alex.

My mom looked at me. "Are you going with Trey tonight? I haven't seen him in a while. How's he been? Is he getting along with his dad or are they still fighting?"

I signed. "He's okay and yea, they're still fighting. I don't know how to help him. What his dad did is messed up and I understand why he wouldn't want to talk to him anymore. But, I don't want him to ever talk to him again. I mean that still is his dad. I wish they could just repair their relationship somehow but doesn't even like being in the same room with him and whenever his dad says something, he tones him out."

"I know it must be hard for all three of them. Keeping that secret for years, thinking your mother left you for years. I know it is all hard for them. Well, if Trey wants to come over for Christmas or any other time, we would love to have him and his brother and even his dad over for dinner. Please let them know sweetie."

She kissed my forehead and I smiled as she walked away. I went up to my room.

*TREY'S POV*

"Hey Trey, wait up a second."

I turned around and my dad was jogging up to me. I opened my car door and through my bag in the back.

"Can we talk later? I have some stuff to do today."

"No, we can't. I haven't seen nor talked to you since Tiffany and Jada came over for dinner. You never told me what happened between y'all."

I just looked at him with my arms folded. "Okay...? Was that a question?"

I could see the anger inside of him itching its way out but he kept his composer.

"Family's coming into town for Christmas and they  would love to see you.  It would be nice for you to come over. Maybe even spend the night. I know Forrest would love that. Just think about it." He put his hand on my shoulder and then walked away.

I don't know what to do. I want to forgive my dad for lying to us but then, it's hard. Like how the hell can you lie to us about our mom for years? How does that benefit? What does that solve?
