Cara's POV
I watched as an axe came hurtling in the direction of Ezio.
It embedded itself into the bark of the tree, and I let out a huge breath I didn't realise I was holding. Ezio grabbed the axe and threw it back at the guard.
I jumped down from my hiding place in the trees, and landed in front of the group of thieves. They flinched, and I smirked. You know you can't be that bad when even the sharp eyes of a theif didn't see you. I untied the ropes on their wrists and legs.
"Get your weapons and go. Do you know your way back from here?"
"Sì. Thank you Cara, you too Ezio. We are very grateful." One man said.
They collected their weaponry and took off into the woods.
We returned to our horses, and mounted them. We managed to rescue the rest of the groups of thieves without much trouble. We didn't lose any men, which was extremely lucky.

We returned to the Isola Tiberina.
When I went up to my room, I noticed something on my bed. It looked like a piece of paper, folded up. It read:
Cara,
You may have gotten away this time, but you cannot run forever. We are still after you, and don't think that we won't go to extreme lengths to reunite you with your family.
Your dear Uncle Cesare.
My stomach turned at the thought of him. He was a bad man, and he did bad things. He killed innocent men and women, but I was adamant that he wouldn't get to me.
Then came the predicament of, do I tell Ezio?
Ezio's POV
I was still a little bit shaken up from that first fight. If that axe had have gone any more to the right, I would have died.
When we returned to the Isola Tiberina, I was met with a piece of folded paper on my bed. It said:
Ezio,
You can't keep Cara from us for much longer. You may be smart, but we are smarter. We will do whatever it takes, I can promise you that much.
Cesare
Just the mention of that name made me want to go after him and kill him. I desperately wanted to know what he had against Cara's family. From what the Brotherhood tells me, they were good people. I also wanted to know why Cara's brother was a Templar. Surely after watching Templars kill his family, he would want them all dead? I can relate, because watching my Father and siblings die was horrible. How could he not feel the same?
But, the main question was, do I tell Cara about this?
