Chapter 20: Attitude Problems

Charlotte was sitting on the couch in the living room, her parents were standing right in front of her glaring at her, Blaine was standing behind them.

"Would you like to tell me why I found this in your room?" asked Kevin.

"Why were you searching my room?" asked Charlotte with attitude.

"I'm your father I have right too" said Kevin sternly

"Why don't you just tell us why you took it" said Erin.

"I didn't take it!"

"Oh ya I forgot Erica did then planted it in your room" said Blaine.

"Blaine" said Kevin sternly, "Either leave or keep quiet"

Charlotte felt tears start in her eyes, she couldn't believe her brother would be like this. But she kept them in check.

"When you are ready to talk to us nicely we will be here, But until then you can go up to your room" said Kevin as calmly as he could.

Charlotte bolted away.

While that was going on everyone was upstairs in Ethan's room.

"There is no way" said Brant.

"She would never do that" said Paul.

"Why would she" said Brian

"Who knows" said Hannah.

"But she didn't do, you can't all believe that she did???" said Nol.

"I don't know what I believe" said David.

"Someone should talk to Carter" said Ben.

"Carter hasn't been around for days since Charlotte's been grounded" said Luke.

"So what? he still might be able to tell us something" said Ben.

"Then you go talk to him" said Brian.

"Some needs to talk to mom and dad" said Brant.

"They can't believe it" said Alex.

"They were already pretty mad at her" said Paul.

"Lets have a vote" said Nol.

"No" said David.

"Why not?" asked Nol

"Because that is wrong" said David.

"Ya I agree" said Hannah.

"Who thinks she stole the money?" asked Nol.

No one raised their hands.

"Who thinks she didn't steal the money and Erica did it?" asked Nol.

Still no one raised their hand.

"Who doesn't know what to think?" asked Nol.

Everyone raised their hand.

"Great" said Nol.

"Listen, I'll go talk to mom and dad. Everyone else go home and keep quiet"

"What about Charlotte?" asked Ben.

"Leave her alone. Talking her tonight won't help" said David.

"What about Blaine?" asked Brant.

"You three talk to him" said David motioning to Brian, Ben and Brant, "Tomorrow"

"Okay good, Now will you all get out of my room" said Ethan.

They all rolled their eyes and started to leave, just as Charlotte came running up the steps. They all stopped in their tracks. So did Charlotte, she look at them, with tears running down her face and then took off. Brant went to go after her.
