Chapter 42: Does it Look Broken!?!

"I want to know what happened and I want to know!" demanded Kevin as he stood in front of kids at the hospital.

"He just veered of the path" said Nol.

"Ya I have no idea how" said Luke.

Both Luke and Nol were pleading it wasn't there fault.

"Anyone else with them?"

Everyone either shook their head or said no.

Kevin sighed and walked away.

"Okay what really happened?" asked Ian.

"Honestly we don't know, he just veered off the path and then crashed" said Nol.

"Why would he go off the path?" asked Paul.

Luke and Nol shrugged "We don't know"

"He just did" said Luke.

"I'm hungry" complained Charlotte.

"Well your gonna have to wait" said Brian.

"Why don't some of you or most of you head back to the cabin. There is not point in waiting here" said Molly.

"Good idea" said Ian, "Molly and I will wait here, the rest of you go."

"I want to wait there too" said Kate.

Alex sighed.

"You don't have to" said Kate.

"But no I really do" said Alex.

"Alright, lets go" said Blaine grabbing Charlotte, they all left back to the cabin.

Back at the cabin...

"Go change while we get some food together" said Blaine

Charlotte skipped off.

"If Ethan has a broken leg, his basketball career is over" said Brian.

"Oh its definitely broken" said Luke.

"It was bent the opposite direction like L shaped" said Nol.

"Thats too much information" said Brant.

"Are you two really telling us the truth about what happened?" asked Paul.

"Yes" said Nol and Luke trying to convince them.

"Okay, just asking, because dad will find out the truth" said Paul.

"He always does" said Brian.

"We are telling the truth!" yelled Luke.

The next thing they know, Bandit sitting next to them barking. They took one look at him and all ran for Charlotte's room. There she was on the ground seizing. She was barely dressed just pants on and one arm in her shirt sleeve. Blaine dropped to the floor next to her so did Paul. Bandit was right there with the medicine in his mouth. Paul grabbed it from him and gave it to Charlotte. She immediately stopped.

"Her head is bleeding" said Hannah.

"She must of hit when she fell" said Brian.

Charlotte opened her eyes. Then she burst in tears, knowing what happened.

"Hey, hey its okay" said Blaine pulling her into him.

"Brant juice" said Paul.

Brant ran off.

"Everyone else get out" said Paul.

Nol, Luke, Brian and Ben left.

Paul helped Charlotte get her shirt on all the way. Hannah was already back with something her her bleeding head.
