Chapter 32: I Can't Do This

As Blaine ran off, Brant went after him.

"Blaine!" yelled Brant "Blaine"

"What!?" he said quickly turning around.

"Everything is going to be fine"

"How? Our little sister is in a coma"

"She is stronger than any of us and if anyone will pull through this its her"

Blaine slid down the hall and sat on the ground. He held his head in hands "I can't do this"

Brant sat down next to him "But you have too. She needs you, she needs all of us"

"If she doesn't wake up..."

"Don't even think like that"

Blaine said nothing. They were silent for a moment. Just sitting there in the hospital hallway.

"I shouldn't have yelled at her" Brant finally said.

"Who wouldn't have, after what you saw"

"You wouldn't"

"Ya well I'm not normal"

Brant laughed a little.

"She is just the most important person in my life. I'd do anything for her. I'd take her place if I could" said Blaine.

"So would I"

They were silent again and just sat in the hallway.

David ran after Ian.

"Ian!" yelled David, "Ian!"

"David don't" said Ian.

David grabbed his arm, "Lets go in here" he pulled him into a break room "You can't do this"

"Do what?" Ian was mad.

"Be mad, start yelling at everyone"

"What am I suppose to do? They should've never yelled at her like and let her run off upset. I've told them 100s of times what could happen"

"I know. But you can't blame them. We can't be going at each other right now"

"She might not wake up and even if she does, she might never be the same" said Ian.

"And we will help her through it. Because she will pull through this, because she is Charlotte and she stronger than any of us"

Ian got super angry and punched the wall.

"Ian!"

"You don't know everything that cannot happen, I do and I wish I didn't" said Ian storming out of the room.

Erin and Kevin finally came out to the waiting room.

Paul stood up "Can we see here?"

"Yes, but only 1 or 2 at a time" said Kevin.

"And only 2 minutes or so, so you can all go" said Erin

Blaine and Brant walked back.

"Blaine should go first" said Ethan.

"No I can't right now" said Blaine sitting down.

"I'll go" said Brant.

"Me too" said Ben.

Ben and Brant followed Erin back. They walked in the room to see Charlotte, hooked up to a bunch of machines and a tube down her throat so she could breathe.

Brant closed his eyes and sighed heavily.

"Oh God" said Ben.

"Talk to her" said Erin as she turned and left.
