Chapter 25: When Nobody is Ready

"Charlotte I'm going to get my shoes on and by the time I get back you better be dressed" said Erin leaving Charlotte rooms.

"Okay okay" said Charlotte.

"I'm serious!" said Erin walking out the door.

Charlotte went back to painting. 

Erin was in the hallway with Kevin.

"No one is here yet and we are leaving in 20 minutes" said Kevin.

"They are all on their way" said Erin.

"Where is Charlotte?"

"Getting dressed"

"Ethan?"

"Right here"

"Why aren't you dressed!?"

"I'm going right now" said Ethan.

"We are leaving in 20 minutes" 

"I know, jeez" said Ethan walking away.

When Kevin turned around, Erin was gone. He sighed.

Downstairs Erin was in the kitchen, Kate and Alex walked in.

"Oh good you're here. Your father is freaking out that no one is gonna get here on time. But can you go find Charlotte and make sure she is getting dressed"

"Sure thing" said Kate.

"Oh and make sure Ethan puts that shirt on I ironed for him!"

"We got it" said Alex. 

As they walked upstairs they found Charlotte.

"What are you doing?" asked Kate.

"I need more paint"

Kate gave her a look. Alex snickered.

"You are suppose to be getting dressed! We are leaving soon" said Kate.

"I just need to finish this one thing"

"No!" said Kate. 

"Come on" said Alex taking her hand, "Lets get that paint off of you. Kate why don't you get her clothes"

Ethan was also in the hallway bathroom.

"Your mom said to make sure you put on the shirt she ironed for you" said Alex picking up Charlotte and putting her on the counter.

"Ya ya" said Ethan walking away.

"Ethan!" 

"I know dad, I'm going"

Kevin peaked his head in the bathroom.

"I got it don't worry" said Alex still cleaning the paint off Charlotte.

Kevin was frustrated, he turned to walk away just as Kate was walking in with Charlotte's dress. 

"We got it dad"

"Where are the rest of your siblings?"

"I don't know" said Kate. 

Kevin walked away.

Meanwhile downstairs, Ben, Blaine and Brian walked in. Brant was downstairs in the kitchen with a cup of coffee in his boxers and a white t-shirt. Kevin walked down.

"Brant!"

"I'm going, I'm going"

"Brant do you have a tie I can borrow?" asked Ben.
