Lady Palutena had used her powers that I was now standing outside Mt. Olympus. I walked up the mountain to the Throne Room of the Gods. I entered. There were 12 people sitting on thrones in the shape of an Greek omega. Women on one side, men on the other.
"Who's this?" a woman with auburn hair asked.
"Why it's Palutena's little servant, sis." Apollo said.
"Why are you here, angel?" another woman with black hair asked.
"I've come to form an alliance with the council, to defeat the Darkling, Samuel." I replied.
"Why would we form an alliance with you?" the man in the middle of the omega asked.
"I think we should." the man beside him said.
"Silence Poseidon, you do not make decisions for the council. I do." the other said.
"Well Zeus, we should at least vote on it." Poseidon said.
"For once Poseidon is right, father." the black hair woman said.
"Thank you Athena." Poseidon said. "See brother, even Athena agrees with me. And you know how we never agree on anything."
"Silence both of you!" Zeus said. "I make the decisions you don't."
Suddenly the whole council broke into argument. They were shouting at each other across the room. Apollo and Artemis were yelling. Zeus and Poseidon looked like they were about to start throwing punches. The black haired woman sitting next to Zeus was backing him up. Athena was yelling at a black haired man with battle scars. It was complete and utter chaos. I couldn't believe these guys actually ruled everything.
"I know." Lady Palutena said. "I'm a goddess and I still can't believe it."
"How am I going to convince them to help me?" I asked.
"First get them to shut up. Then make them swear on the River Styx they'll be your allies." she suggested.
"Hey!" Apollo yelled. "Shut up! Pit needs us to be his allies."
"Why should we?" the man that Athena was arguing with earlier said.
"If you don't, Samuel is going to destroy us all." I said. "I've already gotten the Ice Queen, the Lady of the Shores, Viridi and the Forces of Nature, Hades and the Underworld, and the nymphs as allies. I need your help too. You don't have to do anything, I just need you to swear on the River Styx that you'll be our allies."
"All in favor of the angels request, raise your right hand." Zeus said. seven of them raised their hands. "All opposed." The other 5 raised their hands. "The council has decided. On behalf of the council, I swear on the River Styx that we will be your allies in the battle against the darkling. You are dismissed."
I left the throne room and walked down Olympus. I grabbed the reins to the Lightning Chariot and set off towards Skyworld.
