The Arrival

Maggie POV

I drove up to the gates of the Hilltop. "OPEN UP!" I yelled to the guard.

The gates soon opened and I pull up to the Barrington house. I turned to look behind me. They were still asleep so I decided to wake them up. "WE'RE HERE!" I yell which scares the hell out of them.

Jesus POV

"Shit! What!" I said as yelling woke me up.

Maggie starts giggling. "We're here." She continues to giggle.

"Uuuugggggg." Daryl says sleepily.

"Wake up lets go." She says exiting the car.

We got out and headed up the steps to the house. When we walked into the house we saw Dante guarding one of the rooms. "Hey Dante." The three of us say in unison.

"Hey y'all. She's in here." He says opening the door.

When the door opens there sat a girl tied to a chair. "Maddie?!" I say.

"JESUS!" She yells as I run to hug her."I thought I'd never find you."

"Dante untie her." I say.

He looks to Maggie. She nods and he unties her. As soon as she was free she wrapped her legs around my waist. I could feel Daryl glaring at her and I. "How did you find me?" I ask her as I put her down.

"I was walking and I thought I saw you walk into this place a couple of times. When I was sure it was you, I came here. But I guess you were gone. They tied me up and asked questions but I wouldn't answer any till they brought you here. Mrs.Maggie said she would go and get you. And here we are together again." She says hugging me again.

"Alright that's IT!" Daryl says as he pulls me away and brings me to his chest.

"Jesus who's the crazy guy?" Maddie asks.

"Boyfriend." Daryl growls in response.

"Nice Jesus. I'm glad you found someone." She says smiling.

"Excuse me....so your not a crazy ex trying to take him back."

"No silly. One I'm 14 and two he is my "big brother". " she says making quotations with her fingers.

"Oh well....... I feel like a jerk. " Daryl says letting me go as he starts blushing.

"Im guessing he's protective." She says giggling.

"Very." I say grabbing his hand. I turned to look at Maggie. "Can she stay?" I ask.

"Nooo Jesus I'm gonna throw her out." She says sarcastically. "Yes she can stay!" She continues as she shakes her head and walks out with Dante.

"Yay!" Maddie exclaims.

She walks up to Daryl. "Looks like we're "in laws".......... I'm Maddie." Says extending a hand. "Maddie Rovia."

I see Daryl grab her hand. "Daryl.. Daryl Dixon."

"Nice to meet you." She says and looks at me. "Ya picked a good one Jesus."

I blushed at her comment and so did Daryl. She just giggles. "Let's go." I say.
