So this was the part I dreaded the most.
Living with Bailey.
But, on the other hand, now I can learn more about her. I just have to be careful so that I don't get caught. I don't want that.
This is going to be interesting. "How was school?" Lisa asked baking cookies.
"Hate it, like always," Bailey said throwing her bag on the ground. "Who invented school, anyway?" Lisa chuckled and place the cookies into the oven.
"Oh dear, I hope these cookies will make up for it." She said walking out of the kitchen. This is one of the busiest women I've ever met.
"Your room is across from mine, tell me if you need anything." She said walking away. I take my bag into the room.
It's a plain room, but I won't complain it's bigger than mine. I started doing my homework, and lucky for me, I don't have work today. Boss gave me off.
I started on next week's homework being the nerd I am. What, it's not my fault that I don't want more work? There was a knock on the door and then it opened.
Bailey fell down on the bed, "Are you just going to do homework the whole day?"
"N-no." Yes. That was my plan.
"Good, so I've been invited to a party, and I was wondering if you'd be my plus one?" Parties. I don't do parties. I place my pen down.
"W-when?"
"Tonight." She said proudly. Tonight? I thought she wanted to be good. "Oh come on Jay, live once. Please? Don't do it for me, do it for yourself." I thought for a second, then nodded. "Are you serious?"
"Y-yes." She stood up from the bed.
"Okay cool, so be ready at six." I have a feeling that it's going to be a long night.

It was fifteen minutes until six. I was regretting my decision. I don't want to go to the party anymore.
I know I sound like a girl, but I don't know what to wear. I've never been to a party before. I texted Jasper and asked him what he would wear to a party, he answered casually but also asked why.
I told him that I want to know because someone else asked me. I feel like a total liar, that's all I ever do these days. I want to work on that, but I can't tell him the truth.
Like hey Jasper, I want to know what to wear to a party, because Bailey invited me. He would be very suspicious.
The knock on my door snapped me out of my thoughts. I mumbled a come in and Lisa was holding a plate full of warm chocolate chip cookies. Hmm, the smell. "Here you go, dear." I thanked her.
"Lisa, what is Bailey of you?" I wanted to ask her before, but I never thought that the time was right.
"She's my granddaughter." She smiled, "Why'd you ask?"
"Just wondering why she would be staying here." Lisa nodded and closed the door behind her.
I immediately started eating the cookies as soon as she left the room. My grandmother never bakes me cookies, and my other one died.
I was almost finished with the stack when Bailey came in, "Ready to party?" I nod, swallowing the lump in my throat. Bailey stared at me, placing a finger under her chin. "Hmm..." She clicked her finger, "I got it!"
She ruffled my hair, "W-what are you-" She took off my glasses, "I-I can't see without them." She threw me a shirt.
"Wear that," she said pointing at the shirt, "I'll go ask Lisa for some contacts." I threw my shirt on the bed and put the new one on.
It's just a plain black shirt, but I guess I'm fine with it. I always wear long-sleeved shirts, so I'll wear a jacket. I threw one on and went outside, almost touching every corner. I really have bad vision.
I finally made it out of the house and waited for her. She came out and stared at me for a second and then handed me the contacts, "T-thanks." I mumbled.
I placed them inside my eyes, well I did struggle since I've never worn it before. We climbed into the car. "So are you excited, I know it's your first party?"
"Yeah, w-where's the party?"
"You'll see," she said smirking. "Have you thought about what daring stuff you're going to do?" I raised my hand. "The salt in the coffee doesn't count." I put it back down.
"L-like what?"
"Don't you have a bucket list or something?"
"B-but that's things you do before you die." She rolled her eyes.
"I know Einstein, just things you want to do before high school's over. But it must be daring."
"W-why?"
"Why not?" She said smirking. "Because later you'll regret that you didn't do it. We'll call it Finally Fun list because you'll finally be having fun." I chuckled. "You can call it something else if you want to."
"So y-you're saying that I need more fun in my life?" She nods. I clenched my jaw and she noticed.
"Hey, just like you're helping me, I will help you. It's just for fun. I'm not daring you to do it." Well, it kinda feels exactly that way.
"And w-why exactly do I need fun in my life?"
"Name one fun thing you did this week, that made you feel stoked." I thought for a moment.
"I-I slept well, ate cookies, and did next week's homework. That was fun." She rolls her eyes and lets out a sigh.
"So not fun, maybe the cookies. I mean like so fun you could die happy knowing you lived your life to the fullest."
"Now."
"Really?" She said raising an eyebrow. I was silent just staring out of the window. I was starting to drain myself in my thought when Bailey started singing.
I cover my ears trying to block that terrible sound, "Y-you can't sing!" I yelled over the song and her singing. She laughed but continued to sing.
That's one new thing I learned about her. She can't sing.
The car finally came to a hold and we climbed out. "I want you to meet some of my new friends."
