"Hey, Pat?" Pete asked me. We had been sitting in silence for at least half an hour and I jumped at the sound of his voice.
"Yeah?" I replied, coming back to reality. I had been singing in my head the whole time and had kind of zoned out.
"Did it hurt..." He said, turning his head to the side(which despite the cliche-ness of the question, was kind of cute).
"Let me guess when I fell from heaven?" I murmured, rolling my eyes.
"No." He simply responded. I kind of shook my head, becoming more confused.
"Then what?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows for effect.
"When you fell for me." He explained, grinning intensely.
"Oh my god, you're too cute." I giggled, playfully punching his arm.
"You didn't answer my question." He stated, getting all serious.
"No, it didn't, because I knew you were there for me no matter what. You were always so sweet and funny and... just perfect." I told him, my heart expanding inside my chest. I loved him. So. Much.
