{Pete's POV}

My loving husband of two years, my little stump, my Pattycakes. All of these and more could describe Patrick. One thing I never thought would be on that list would be a writer. But yet, I lay here in bed, scrolling through Twitter when one particular tweet catches my eye. (I'm going to put my own @ here because I can so just ignore that)

@/ultrakindofsad:
"Oml do you guys remember when Patrick used to write fanfiction about him and Pete before they started dating?? He was so in love with him, everyone shipped them!! It was so so cute!! If you've never seen it before, seriously go check it out: link"

Patrick used to write about us? What's fanfiction? Too many questions. I clicked the link the girl gave and checked out the website...

Oh. My. God. That- I- I just didn't expect that. Patrick wrote about us in such an intimate way, I'm almost embarrassed for it to be on the internet where anyone could read it. And plus, Patrick? He's such an innocent little bean, I would never have expected this from him! He was so skittish and nervous when we started dating, it took us two months to kiss! Almost four months for us to make out!! And almost a year for us to... well, you know. I just, can't see him writing anything like this.

"Pete? I'm home!" Patrick's voice rang through the house, startling me. It had been about 4 hours since I discovered Patrick's books. 3 of 4 of those hours I spent reading them all. There were two actual books, both about 30 chapters and one with one-chapter-stories, oneshots I believe they were called, a book that was around 60 chapters.

"In here babe!" I yelled back, putting away my phone and internally fighting myself about whether or not I should mention the books. I decided to have some fun with it before I told him I found them.

"Hey! How have you been?" He entered our bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed, setting his stuff down by the door.

"I'm pretty good. Had a nice relaxing day just reading and listening to music." I told him, smiling. It was kind of hard to not say something, but I'm managing for now, I guess.

"That's sounds really nice actually. It was pretty stressful at work today, but just being here with you is making me feel already." Ok wow, he's cheesy. "What'd you read?"

"Oh, you know... just a smallish book about this guy and his step brother that live together with two roommates. It's about their life throughout college and their experience creating a band while having to deal with that stress. It gets more interesting but I won't ruin it for you." I explained, trying to make it obvious and not obvious all at once. His face dropped, eyes widening.

"Wha- who- wh- um..." He stammered, eyes moving all around the room. It was so hard not to laugh. "Who was it by?"

"Oh, some independent author online. I can't remember his name." Hmm, probably shouldn't've used 'his'... oh well.

"Do you remember the title?" He asked, moving around a lot.

"Umm... I think it was 'My Step-Brother'? I'm not very good with names. I could show it to you, if you'd like?" This was very fun.

"I guess so, it sounds... familiar." He totally knew, he was so terrified. It shouldn't be this funny!!

I pulled out my laptop and got onto WattPad, finding the story again. I made sure that he wouldn't see that it was WattPad, and then I clicked onto chapter 1. Turning it around to him and seeing his eyes practically popping out of his head was the best thing ever.

"Oh-oh my god, Pete! I'm so sorry, this is just- this wasn't meant for you to find. Hell, I didn't even think I would meet you, ever! Let alone marry you! I'm so sorry you found this, this is terrible! I never should have written th-" he went on rambling until I kissed him briefly to stop it.

"Patrick, it's fine. I promise! Seriously, I actually loved them! You're a really great writer! I spent almost all day reading all of your stories about us. Other than the fact it's a bit embarrassing to have stories of us together so intimately, which doesn't even bug me too much, it really doesn't bother me! I promise."

"You really like them?" He said, almost whispering.

I nodded, shutting my laptop and lying down. He joined me instantly, lying his head on my chest.

"I can't believe you wrote fanfic about us!" I laughed, ruffling his hair a bit.

"Hey, don't shame me!"

"I'm not! It's just funny you, like, actually did that. I wonder what would've happened if we went back in time and told your younger self we got married?" I was still laughing slightly, staring at our ceiling.

"I'd probably die, to be honest." He replied, shaking his head.

"I guess we shouldn't do that then, huh?"

"I guess not..."
