"I-I think I like you!" I mumbled, blushing when Pete laughed. I hope I didn't just ruin anything.

"You mean in a friend way o-or-" He started, but I cut him off, getting slightly frustrated. I was told by three different people that Pete liked me, and I swear if they were tricking me, I will hurt them all.

"NO, IN A SEXUAL WAY!" I yelled after a moment of deciding. He looked at me little weird, but he didn't seem appalled, which I guess was pretty good.

"O-oh... alright. Um... well, I think I like you too?" He said, but as more of a question. I almost kissed him in the spot, mentally screaming. This was kind of the best thing that's ever happened, like, ever.

"Well, what do we do now?" I asked, shifting awkwardly in the living room. He was sitting on the couch, but I was too weird to walk over and sit down.

"Uh... well for starters, come and sit over here. I want to see your pretty face close up." He told me, patting the space next to him.

When I sat down, I was even more awkward. I sat about a foot away from him, my hands in my lap, looking at the floor.

"What are you doing? I said I wanted to see your pretty face up close, not stare at your hair forever!" Pete teased, shaking my shoulder, laughing slightly.

"S-sorry. I'm just... I don't know what to do." I said truthfully, shifting my gaze to his eyes. He smiled at me and loosening his grip on my shoulder.

"May I-" He began, leaning in halfway. I nodded, and closed the gap. Our lips met and no fireworks went off. Not in a bad way, just in a 'we're both insanely awkward but this still is nice' kind of way.

I guess Andy, Joe, and Brendon were all right...
