{Patrick's POV}

I was thinking of a way to finally profess my love to Pete, and I couldn't freaking think of anything. I called my friend Frank and asked him for advice, giving up on actually think of anything. He suggested I say it in another language, he knew Italian and said he could teach me how to say what I wanted to. I finally decided on saying 'Pete, I love you and it would be my world if you would be my boyfriend'.

It only took me a week to get it down, thankfully. I called Pete telling him I needed to tell him something during last period, and I couldn't freaking wait until he heard what I said.

The time was here and I was scared out of my wits. Let's really hope he doesn't know Italian...

"Hey Pat!! Now, what did you want to tell me??" He was practically bouncing up and down with anticipation.

"Well, Pete, ti amo e sarebbe il mio mondo intero se tu fossi il mio ragazzo." I said, surprisingly smooth. He cocked his head to the side, confused. I laughed a little and retreated to my seat. What I didn't know was that some kid in our class was fluent in Italian and was about to tell Pete what I said.

{Pete's POV}

"What are you laughing about?!" I almost yelled, for some kid behind me had been laughing ever since I sat down.

"Fine, fine. That kid who just talked to you? Yeah, he said 'Pete, I love you and it would be my whole world if you were my boyfriend' in Italian." The kid told me, and my jaw practically dropped when he said that, because PATRICK LOVED ME TOO!!!???

"Are you... serious?" I asked, hesitant this was a joke Patrick made to see my reaction.

"Yep, I'm fluent in Italian and French. If you want to say something back, I would suggest 'Amore bel culo' if you feel the same way he does." He suggested, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah I feel the same way, so..." I contemplated asking what it meant, but just trusted him. "Amore bel culo?"

"Yep. Nice pronunciation dude. Good luck." And with that, class started. The 1 and a half hour period seemed even longer than it actually was, and I just wanted it be over.

...

"DING" The bell finally chimed, signaling the day was over. I got my stuff and walked out, meeting Patrick in the hallway.

"Amore bel culo." I whispered in his ear, walking away with a smug smile on my face. I have no idea what I just said, but I felt great about it.

{Patrick's POV}

"-He said 'Amore bel culo' I think. What does that mean?" I asked Frank over the phone. All I got in response was laughing. "Frank?"

"Umm... he said 'Nice ass love'." He breathed before going into another fit of laughs. I blushed intensely and was very glad Frank wasn't here with me. I just mumbled a 'thanks, talk later' and hung up. I then opened messages and started typing.
