Chapter Two

We headed towards Lexi's locker and she opened it facing the length view mirror that was on the back of the door, She was admiring herself once again, but who can blame her, she was drop dead gorgeous. Lexi was probably her mother's doppelganger. They both had soft blonde hair, pale ivory skin, perfect round emerald green eyes, and was petite, making her not too short and not too tall. On the other hand me.....that's another story. Soon the bell rang and Lexi and I headed to our last class of the day, English. We took our usual seats in the back and started taking out our books. Last I heard, we were going to start a new unit and a new project. Drew walked in and sat down to Lexi. He was a jock for the football team, he was the hottest kid in school and what better way to make yourself hotter than to date the hottest girl in school, Lexi. As I looked up and turned to Lexi, I saw that she was making out with Drew and as usual, I rolled my eyes. Soon I felt eyes on me and realized that the whole class and teacher was staring at them. Feeling a pang of embarrassment for actually knowing those two, I coughed under my breath and thankfully they stopped. "Thank you, Ms. Peg." Mrs. Doris said and continued on with her lesson. "Class before we start our new unit, I want to introduce our new student, Jake Daniels. He will be with us for the rest of the school year, so be nice and remember that this is home." I looked up from my desk to see it was the guy from lunch. He had dark straight hair, his eyes were a turquoise blue, and he had white ivory skin. He wore a black t shirt and black skinny jeans, having a military green overcoat and some original pair of converse and I couldn't tell if he was a dirt kid or a rich kid. "Mr. Daniels, why don't you sit next to Ms.Peg," Mrs.Doris said breaking me from my trance. He walked over slowly to the seat next to me and stared straight, never turning or moving. I looked away from him before he could notice that I was staring at him and went back to Mrs.Doris.
